Ordered a bed

Ordered a bed, delivery advised 5-7 working days. It was here 3. Great communication via text and email updates. Our house is really difficult to find, it’s very hidden but the delivery driver Ben was great. No messing around just rang and was here within a couple of seconds. Polite, brought it in where I wanted it and I’m very happy

Excellent service, delivered very promptly!

Really great experience

Really great experience, the Bed was delivered by a lovely guy named Ben, he was friendly and very helpful. Only thing I would say to improve the experience would be to give a delivery slot time frame so people know roughly what time the delivery will be i (i read i would get a 3 hour time slot for delivery but i didn't so I'm not sure if this has changed now), i only knew the day the the delivery was happening but luckily I was in when the delivery took place so all went well.Thank you

Customer Service Issues & Long Delay

I ordered a bed on 26/10 which said that I would get delivery within 3-5 working days. I understand that the company who is advertising the delivery times is separate from Solo so I understand if my delivery was a little outside of this time as ultimately its not solo that was advertising this.

I received an email on the 27/10 saying that they had received my order and I was provided with a tracking link.

29/10 I checked the tracking link and it said the products have been received - all looking good!

After no movement on the portal after 3 days I emailed their customer service on 2/11 to ask if there was any indication of when I might get a delivery as I would need to arrange time off work to receive it.

I got a response on the same day (great!) saying that I would get a delivery date within the next 24/48 hours which I was fine with but I did ask for some clarification on the delay because they did provide me a proposed (unconfirmed) delivery date which was for the next week, which would have been 9 working days since I placed the order.

I was told that the delay was due to them not receiving the item - even though the portal said it was received on the 28/10. Hmmm.

After not receiving any update I emailed again 4 days later on the 8/11 to ask when I could expect an update and I was told that I should get the order on the 11th (today) as this was the next time they were 'in my area'.

I got a text message yesterday (10/11) confirming my delivery for today so I arranged to take the day away from the office. I got a text message this morning saying the delivery slot would be received between 7am-10am.

It gets to 11am and I still had not had the delivery. I rechecked the tracking portal and its now saying that the delivery is awaiting a date with no communication or update at all.

I then receive an email at midday saying that the vehicle has broken down and needs to be towed away - no alternative delivery date given. I can accept that these things happen but based on the experience I have had up to this point and the fact that I was not offered a new date to make up for this I feel I have no choice but to leave a review.

I'm not the type of person to leave bad reviews as I’m a small business owner myself and reviews are very important to my business, but I feel in this case I have a duty of care to share this as I have honestly never had such a poor customer service experience with a courier/delivery company.

I live in an area that is rural and I do accept that scheduling deliveries can be difficult when a certain area is off the beat and track a little, but the fact that I have been basically fobbed off at every stage of this delivery and provided with no meaningful updates I would not accept that as an excuse given the time that has passed since they said they received my item.

An overall amazing buy and top recommendation of this place

Good quality bed and a great price too. The building of it was fairly easy. The feeling of the crushed velvet is amazing and a beautiful colour. LED lights have a wide selection of colours and fantastic that you can change the speed of flashing, brightness etc. Also a massive thank you to Ben the delivery driver who bless him carried it up four flights of stairs. A lovely genuine guy. Would definitely use again and recommend this company wholeheartedly 🙏

Driver went extra mile to help

Had a delivery from a driver called Ben,
He helped my wife bring in everything as I was stuck in traffic trying to get home very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to help

Couldn't fault

Delivery came on time as scheduled and the driver Ben was extremely helpful and carried the bed into the house rather than just dumping it like most couriers. Would definitely recommend them
