Installation was straightforward and everything was explained, couldn’t fault it, however we’ve since had a fault and have spent 2 months being passed between soly and GivEnergy and given the run aro... See more

The agent was very polite and informative
George is young but knowledgeable and able to think on his feet to accommodate my unusual situation with intermittent electric Aga usage.
Pleasant & polite and reassuring about Soly as a company and it's choice of products.
Spoke with Dan, he was friendly, knowledgeable and seems a thoroughly decent guy. No faff, no big sales pitch. Straightforward gave the info requested, and a competitive quote. Thanks Dan speak soon.
They were absolutely great and helpful while selling the product but once I had paid things went rapidly downhill. My panels went up in March but the connection only got done in September as their install team is sub contracted and often came to the property and left without installing on the flimsiest of excuses. They agreed to install my car charger but they have left it on my property for two months and I am still running after them to install it. They have a customer service number but no one ever picks up. You have to email and they usually reply with a "working on it" response. I would not work with them again.
Sanjeev was really informative and I loved that we could adjust the panels in real time with nothing hidden.
The best solar sales experience I have had and transparent.i have spoken to many solar installars.
very helpful and informative team, and competitive price!
I was genuinely excited to go solar, but the experience with SOLY before the contract was even finalised turned into an absolute disaster.
I considered cancelling my contract because of the fundamental lack of communication and competence was a massive red flag.
Before anyone stepped on to my property, the company seemed that it couldn't get basic project requirements straight. We had major confusion around crucial elements like:
• Suddenly needing concrete slab where the batteries were going, no discussion about this had, but it was sprung on us 10 days later potentially adding more cost and time for us. (Why would this not be part of the installation?)
• Technical issues and indecision regarding the existing EV charger integration.
• General confusion about my existing solar system.
It felt like each time I solved one problem with them, another popped up. It felt like nobody was actually managing the project on their end. I felt it should have been managed together at one point, maybe my expectations were high!?
I thought frankly, if they can't handle the paperwork and simple logistics, I have zero faith they could deliver a quality installation or provide decent long-term aftercare. My decision to possibly cancel felt it should be final because the stress was not worth the risk.
Since no work was done, I immediately demanded a full refund of my deposit. If you're looking for a smooth, trustworthy process, consider looking elsewhere. This experience was stressful and utterly disappointing but they have made promises and re-assurances that there should be no other issues moving forward.
UPDATE: I am happy to report that the team has now provided a satisfactory resolution and update to the complexities experienced during the initial planning phase.
They fully acknowledged my concerns and have taken the necessary steps to move the project forward on terms that are acceptable to me.
The commitment to good customer service and ensuring a positive outcome has been very strong. I will be posting a final, comprehensive review upon the successful installation and full commissioning of the system.
11/12/2025- the company seems to have gone bankrupt, I was expecting installing anytime now but not able to contact and looking at news online it appears they have gone bankrupt. Deposit paid and possibly lost. 2.5k lost
Really took the time to explain everything in detail as it is a mindfield looking at the various options, equipment and tarrifs this late in the game so hard to root out the old technology vs the new. But James literally knew it all and could put the electrical principles in layman’s terms.
Good discussion and very informative. Only downside is that Soly only offer one brand of battery.
Waiting for the arranged call which never came.
No response to my text checking if the call was still going ahead. Shame, it looked promising up intil that point.
I had a few problems initially, but my contact staff soon sorted them out.
I had a Soly System installed in August, everything upto and including the install was superb, however it failed 10 days ago and tripped the main RCD. Despite repeated phone calls and emails to Support at Soly they have yet to arrange a date to inspect it, let alone fix it! Their aftersales support is attrocious.
Pre sales support from Grant Silverman was first class and in fact the reason that we went with Soly. Your support and advice is by far better than your competitors. After sales support from Amelio was no different, kept me up to speed via whattsapp all the way through.
On site install was a breeze, Luke and Luke were class. They knew exactly what they were doing, were courteous and professional throughout. There were a couple of small things that weren't quite as the original plan but it wasn't an issue for the guys installing.
All 4 are a massive asset to Soly, would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for solar / battery installs.
George was very professional in his approach. He was very knowledgeable and flexible to my needs.
My initial contact was with Ash, who planned the entire system online and provided a quote for 10 panels, a 10kw Fox battery. The larger battery was my choice. Additionally, there was a Fox inverter and bird guard included. If you have specific requirements, they will help you meet them. Overall, my experience with Soly,Ash, and the rest of the team has been excellent. Just one issue: the Fox battery app isn't connecting to the system, but they are aware of it. Ben, the installer, stayed behind to try and get it to connect, but unfortunately, it didn't work. However, this isn't a major problem. The system is functioning well, and the readings on the inverter are accurate. I would definitely recommend them; even after five months of considering options and exploring other companies, I returned to Soly.5*
Arrived on time, were professional, clean and tidy, and installation went smoothly, would highly recommend.
James was both very helpful and very knowledgeable - he understood our situation and was happy to provide a quote with options and to recontact us when our new house is ready. Highly recommend.
Isaac was well prepared and explained things clearly. No pressurised selling.
