Installation was straightforward and everything was explained, couldn’t fault it, however we’ve since had a fault and have spent 2 months being passed between soly and GivEnergy and given the run aro... See more

Isaac was well prepared and explained things clearly. No pressurised selling.
The instalation and pre instalation advice was good and went smoothly. However, once installed we have come across a few issues.
First, the 'Soly Brain' which was advertised as a smart device that monitors your homes energy usage is incompatable with the battery Soly installed rendering it a useless plastic box.
Second, our inverter started tripping on hot sunny days. To Soly's credit, they sent someone out quickly to take a look, but they couldn't dfind an issue. They suggested we wait until we get more hot and sunny weather then contact Soly again if it resumes tripping, so, unresolved.
Finally, I recently recieved an email from HIES stating Soly had not logged our instalation as complete (it was completed six months ago) meaning we are still unable to claim our extended warranty.
I'm giving two stars, as on the whole, other than the inverter issue, the system has been working well and generating electricity. The Soly staff are polite and helpful when you speak to them, but don't seem to follow up on anything unless chased.
The consultant explained the whole process and quotation so clearly, answering all our questions without being pushy at all. Received the quotation by email within minutes and so professionally done. Would not consider getting solar with anyone else but Soly
George took time to answer our questions to find the best fit for our house and needs
Soly explained to me exactly what i can and can't have and gave me full details of the costs involved.
I have to say I would prefer to be doing surveys like this in say a years time when the product has been installed and I have a much better idea of all the benefits.
GOT THE PROFFESINAL ANSWER TO MY QUESTIONS WITH PATIENCES.
After an enquiry online the Soly representative (Shankar) was excellent at talking me through the options for a solar battery installation. Was clear and concise and understood exactly what we need for this to be a successful implementation. Will we proceed with Soly depends on other quotes, but this call put them on my shortlist
Very responsive and helpful, very good use of technology for quoting etc.
Good company to deal with. Team really helpful at each step of the way - in particular Amelio. Thank you.
My system was fitted in 8th July, on the day after I got their invoice, which I stupidly paid. My main reason for giving Soly the contract was the Soly Brain. I was assured it was the Bees knees. I have been waiting since then to have it fitted. No contact from them unless I chase them up. All I've had is excuses. I feel betrayed and cheated. Their after sales service is non existent. Do yourself a favour and avoid.
4 stars from me. The experience is daunting for me as it is all done online. I got a quote of a company who sent someone to see me, and looked at everything. As you can understand, their quote was more expensive, as the salesman needs paying. The staff at Soly have been friendly and understanding, their quote by the way was great.
I cannot bring myself to recommend this solar company .
I had them install a full system on my domestic property on the 12 August 25. The installation is still not finished. Excuse after excuse I have had neighbours come to me and asked for the company details as the installation was done perfectly. It turned out the company that did the installation was sub contracted for the work.
Before the job had been started I was repeatedly asked if I would provide a 5 star review for their work.. I did not.
I have repeatedly asked if they could come back and complete the works .. As of today 6th October 25 I am still waiting for the job to be finished..
I can’t and won’t recommend SOLY ENERGY And advise you take care when looking for solar energy..
I have sent two neighbours to the local company that did my installation.. I hope this kicked someone up the arse and they completely the job. I lost lots of payback money due to slow admin. I can’t get low priced electricity at night to top... Read more
Great communication and support pre sale, however after sales service has been very poor, requested some support over 4 weeks ago, little communication having to chase and still waiting on what should be a simple task. Really disappointing.
The engineer who fitted our battery was efficient and polite and did a first class job.
The initial contact with Soly went very well. John was very knowledgeable about the options available to me and found a suitable package for my needs. I was then handed over to Amelio, who reviewed various photographs of the property that were requested and confirmed that the installation would be straightforward. I was then handed over to Alan in the Installations team who coordinated with the contractors who came to install the solar system.
Unfortunately on the day of installation I noted that the contractors hadn't been provided with one part of the system that I had ordered (automatic transfer switch (ATS)). I contacted Soly and was advised by Amelio and Alan that there was a supply issue and a date would be arranged for the ATS to be installed.
I'm now 2 weeks on and still haven't received an update on the ATS installation date. In the meantime Soly's finance team have been chasing me for payment of the balance, despite my advising that until the complete system is installed it would be reasonable to hold off paying the balance.
My adviser was Grant who was very knowledgable and helped me to make a very informed descison.
Soly has been nothing but helpful and understanding. From the day I agreed with them to install a battery I knew my case was going to be a complicated one, due to time management, and disputes with the property manager company (not with Soly) and yet they always stood by me, guided me, figured out information in my behalf. They have always been punctual and professional. A huge shout out to Sanjeeb and Amelio, for the excellent customer service.
Did not give me the information promised.
Precise and clear explanation of what my options would be and delivered in a friendly, polite manner

Sanjeev was very polite and answered all my questions, he did not pressurise me in any way, when I said I need time to think about my options.
