From start to finish it's been a great…

From start to finish it's been a great experience. No pushy sales talk...excellent communication throughout and smooth and efficient installation. The Soly brain is great alongside the app so you can monitor what you're generating and using at any time. Would recommend Soly to anyone.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

The website states, "Customers can start saving right away – we can usually install within 8 weeks" and emphasises a dedication to "We believe in building trust and providing the best experience for our customers".

Unfortunately, our experience has not aligned with these statements during our customer journey. Over the past several months, we have been profoundly disappointed by the service, resulting in significant time and financial loss. We were under the impression that once we received our quote, our solar panels would be installed within four weeks. However, this timeline did not materialise. We received our quote on 5th Jul 2024, and were still waiting 11 months later for the installation of our solar panels. This prolonged delay and lack of communication from the company are entirely unacceptable.

There was 0 communication and there were many times they promised to turn up, so I’d take a day off work, and then nobody would show! Not even a courtesy call to say they couldn’t make it! Waste of time! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Currently looking for a different company entirely!

John Telensky is a very good sales…

John Telensky is a very good sales representative and if it wasn't a Tesla solar panel system that I wanted, I would have went with Soly. John was informative and wasn't a pushy sales figure. The company gives good Solar options for customers to choose from. Although I didn't go with Soly in the end I hope they do well in future. All the best from a would-have-been-customer in Gloucester. CT.

Aftercare issue - resolved 5th August 2025

Installation was straightforward and everything was explained, couldn’t fault it, however we’ve since had a fault and have spent 2 months being passed between soly and GivEnergy and given the run around. We’re going round in circles trying to get it sorted and losing out during the sunniest months of the year. Soly say they’ll look into it then take days or weeks to get back and GivEnergy just refer us back to Soly. Infuriating doesn’t cover it!!!
Edit: 5th August 2025 problem has now been resolved and was a manufacturing fault. It seems work was going on from Soly in the background but better communication would have helped. Pleased it’s been resolved by Soly and we’ve been told we will be compensated for our loss.

Grant was very helpful in my decision making I have spoken to a number of solar installers and he took time to explain my ck certs and I did not feel pressured in making a decision there and then and gave me peace of mind to make the right choice and best configuration for my system
