*AVOID* I've had such a BAD experience with this company I feel that I need to warn others. My named driver was involved in an accident, they told me I was at fault and I accepted it. I have committed DAYS on phone calls/emails and meetings. The case is very straightforward. 3 months on and I am still being HASSLED to provide copies of information I've already provided. They sent round a claims handler who arrived in jeans and a t shirt and had a young girl waiting in the car for him. I think he thought he was a CID officer and that I was up for murder!. He told me I needed to let him take photographs of me so that he could prove to the insurance company that he'd done a face to face meeting! Obviously the insurance company has trust issues with their 'CID officer'. Who knows where my photos will end up! I now have a data security RISK which I never had before dealing with Somerset Bridge. So UNPROFESSIONAL. They've sent me further requests for copies of drivers licences after I've already provided them multiple times. This company are DISORGANISED and UNPROFESSIONAL. They are impossible to deal with. I'm now 3 months on and still being asked for the same information. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. The small premium saving is not worth the HASSLE.

Having had to make my first claim and under upsetting circumstances ( I had been visiting my cousin who was on end of life care and on my way Home), Tom could not have ben more understanding and helpful and made the process so easy of processing my claim

Dismissed my claim without even speaking to me. Took a (brief explanation) from another family member on the policy who wasn't even present at the time of the accident. Looked at a few photos sent over and their decision - 100% my fault for pulling out a parking bay. The CCTV show it was clearly the other persons fault (this has been backed up by a police officer). However, they cannot or will not review the CCTV footage. To add insult to injury the 3rd party involved was speeding and on their phone at the time of the accident. I am appalled at this decision and will be taking the matter further. Avoid at all cost

My girlfriend had to cancel her insurance because of car broke down. They ripped another £121 for a cancellation. It's a company which can take your money. They covered by Go Skippy. Never use them again. AVOID

I was a little apprehensive after reading reviews but honestly I have had such a good and seamless experience. I made a claim via the third party insurance (Go Skippy) I am the non fault driver and my car was taken away for repairs that day and a hire the day after. It only took 3 weeks to get my car repaired and was updated throughout. Thank you so much.

Contacted them for an emergency windscreen replacement and was give a date in 12 days time. Contacted them a 2nd time to emphasise the nature of the emergency and to try and get an earlier date and they said they would TRY and get back to me by the end of the day. They never, ever, did get back to me, so I organised the next day replacement windscreen through another company. They have now refused my refund claim because I never contacted them a 3rd time to chase them for their lack of action. Stereo-typical rip-off insurance company.

Still waiting after 8 weeks. In all that time only 1 contact from company that son did not initiate. That was from CoParts who gave assessment value of car which has not been paid. 5 stars to Holly in settlements who son spoke to and she said she would get on to it, that was 2 Fridays ago. She sent email saying her managers would deal with it on the Monday as she only worked Thursdays and Fridays did they? NO , still waiting.
