We purchased our 2nd motorhome from SMC back in December, this time dealing with Zac, who was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The warm coffees helped too!
Deal done, we then collected from Paul at the Service Centre a few weeks later, another easy and friendly collection.
We had a few minor issues in the first few weeks but Nicky in Service has been absolutely brilliant.
She is definitely the star of the show.

New to the world of motorhomes we took the plunge and purchased a five year old Chausson 630 in November 2023 following a visit to the West Point show in Exeter. Salesman Jon was excellent and the whole purchasing process was smooth and reassuring. Visited the showroom prior to picking the van up with a few newbie questions regarding what equipment came with the vehicle etc and received informative and helpful answers & advice. On taking the Motorhome on its first proper trip a few weeks ago it developed a problem with the rear indicators and the near side wiper needed replacing. Booked into the service centre, met the mechanic who would carry out the work and explained the problems to him. Despite my paranoia that they wouldn’t be able to fix the problem with the indicators, it has been rectified to my complete satisfaction! A huge thanks to Nicky (who brought me back to earth in a calm reassuring manner!) and all the team at the service centre for your prompt & professional attitude. A fantastic dealership who excel in after sales service and care about their customers.

When looking for our motor home. We arrived at the sales centre. We were welcomed by Zac but did not feel under any pressure. He gave us time to look around and was very knowledgable. We made our choice and the sale went very smoothly. The hot chocolate was very welcome Zac,on a very cold day. On picking up the motorhome. We were met by Paul. He was very thorough on the hand over,explained everything. Very pleasant experience all round. Thanks guys. Denise and Andrew

We bought an 2019 Pre owned Elddis 155 from Somerset MH in 2023. From the start I have to say this is an excellent company to deal with. Sales department were efficient and answered questions both pre sale and post sale (whilst waiting for delivery). However it’s the after sales team that are exemplary, Nicky and Paul were efficient and prompt in dealing with some snagging issues. Our Peugeot Boxer had an ECU failure after a few months, they repaired under warranty as you would expect. However shortly after and now outside of warranty period it failed again. I had expected to have some battles in getting this fixed (whilst many including myself would say that this was still their problem to sort. In my experience often to get organisations to agree is labourious and stressful). SMC were so refreshing to deal with and work done with no argument whatsoever.
You see such horror stories especially on social media of MH suppliers poor service. I can just say 100% that in my experience Somerset Motorhome is a thoroughly professional company and would recommend them every time.

From the day we walked into the sales dept until we picked up our campervan the service has been exemplary. You are greeted straight away, offered coffee and very informative. We collected our campervan from the collections dept and cannot fault the service. The habitation handover was excellent and they give you a free night at a local campsite to try everything out. There is no doubt I would 100% recommend. We are newbies so it was important to feel we got the right information first time round. Couldn't be happier.

My wife and I bought a motor home from SMC, almost immediately we went on an extended trip around France, Spain and Portugal. Unfortunately both the starter motor and alternator suffered a power spike while we were away and there were ongoing issues starting it after it got hot on long runs. After running repairs in Europe we took the motor home back to SMC for them to investigate the problems. I have to say the real worth of a company is how they deal with problems when they arise. Paul in the maintenance centre took on the issues and after a couple of weeks I picked the van up yesterday. Whilst I haven't had time to fully test the repairs the customer service experience from them has been exemplary, so rare in this day and age. Based on my experience I would highly recommend them and would buy another van from them in the future.

We are new to owning a campervan. We visited a couple if dealers but found Somerset Motorhome Center to have a great selection of vans & MC in all shapes and sizes something for every budget.
We found the sales staff to be knowledgeable, professional and very helpful without being pushy. The option to stay in local campsite one C/van was purchased is a great idea, we had a minor issue with the bed, and an engineer visited us whilst at campsite. We dropped by the workshop the next day to get a few snags completed. Great service, love the van and knowledge that they are there for us if we have anymore queries. Recommend and would return.

No pressure to buy,we went down in the rain and glad we did the motorhome is dream ,everything works including the solar panel🫡. Overall very happy

We bought our motorhome from Somerset Motorhomes 10 months ago and the service we received has been absolutely outstanding.We have had a few minor problems which is understandable for a second hand vehicle but the team at Somerset Motorhomes has gone above and beyond to rectify all of our issues,the whole team are friendly and approachable and we are so glad we bought our home from home from them.Would absolutely recommend them to anyone and will definitely buy again when we are ready to have a change. 10/10,thank you Shaun and Debs

I have just sold my Campervan to Somerset Motorhomes, dealing with Stewart throughout the process. It was a friendly, no pressure experience and we were offered a fair price. From initial discussions to purchase and collection, the whole thing was stress free, efficient and the collection team were very friendly. Highly recommended

We have purchased a few motorhomes from Somerset motorhomes centre over the years and have always had good service until this time
Last Tuesday I paid a holding deposit to John (the Co Owner) and we arranged for me to view the motorhome on Friday. We had already seen the vehicle at the show, but couldn’t try the bed for size as it was broken and there were too many people around to look properly.
On Friday morning we had a call from Stewart whilst I was 15 minutes away to be told, pay a £4000 payment now and we will lock it up and it’s yours !! We have someone else who wants to view it now, and the holding deposit was for 48 hours only. This was certainly not told to us at the time and it is not mentioned on the website. Words fail me to be honest how we have been treated. We would not buy a motorhome without looking at it properly

We value all our customers . I Don’t think so……………>……….your reply is not correct I spoke to Jon and he confirmed who he was .you move the goalposts to suit yourselfs.I will not give you the satisfaction of finding me another motorhome.I would sooner give it to another dealer

Just bought a used motorhome from Somerset Motorhomes. It didn’t matter that it was an older model. They treated the transaction as if it was for double the money. All the staff I had contact with were friendly and professional. Probably the best company I’ve dealt with in a long time.

This is the second vehicle I sold to them. Once again a fair price and a very easy transaction from start to end. Contacted Josh on Wednesday, price agreed over the phone and deposit paid immediately, then the camper was collected and the money in my account on Friday. Both times there was no trying to chip the price at collection. Very easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

After recently purchasing our motorhome we had a couple of minor issues. Rang Nicky at the Service Centre who was extremely helpful and got us booked in. Once again the service was second to none (just like the Sales Centre). Our issues were quickly resolved and we were able to go on our next adventure. The service received from both sides of this company is truly amazing. Well done all of you keep up the good work.

An excellent experince from the 1st enquiry, through the viewing, striking a deal and the delivery process. The staff are knowledgable, polite and not at all "pushy"

Paul on handover of motorhome, concentrated on differences between trade in and replacement, which was extremely helpful. Happy to answer any questions in depth. A query couple days later was quickly responded to by Nicky.

I know a bit about customer service and this company delivers. From sales, handover to using after care service Somerset Motorhomes has consistently delivered.
Friendly, efficient and they do what they say they will do keeping you updated.

We purchased our motorhome a few months ago. The sales team were excellent not pushy in any way, very relaxed and gave us a great deal on our old camper. After our first night on site which was provided by Somerset motorhomes as part of the sale package, we discovered a few minor faults. We returned to the service centre the next day were given a coffee and all the faults bar one were fixed there and then.
Unfortunately we had one persistent fault that seemed incurable. However thanks to Ian’s patience and determination this is now resolved. We are delighted with our motorhome and the service we have received from the sales team, the customer service team especially Nicky and the technicians with a special shout out to Ian. If you are looking for a motorhome this is the company to go to. We shall return when it’s time to upgrade.

We bought our rather large first motorhome from these guys. Very helpful, not pushy. When we collected it at their service dept in Durston, nothing but A1 handover. Unfortunately I damaged the electric bed a day after and it went back in. When we collected it they were great. I was a bit embarrassed for what Idid but it won’t happen again, and the big plus? They never charged us for the repair.
