This is our second purchase from Somerset Motor Homes. The sales person Simon, helped make our choice of camper van easy. Coincidently, he sold us our first motorhome 11 years ago! Paul at the pick up centre was very friendly and informative.
We would definitely recommend Somerset Motor Homes.

Just to say a big thanks to the staff and owner Tom for for a speedy response to an issue we had with our new Moho this company is as good as their word and if you experience a problem they resolve it I would definitely recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate buying from them again thanks from steve and kate south.

I placed add to sell my fiat Adria twin and was contacted by Josh and I have to say he was extremely polite and respectful through the whole transaction. We had finance remaining on the van and this was no issue for them. They respected my price was fair and didn’t try to engineer us dropping too much, only a mild query of our best price. They respected this as fair wholeheartedly. They liaised with the lender, got a settlement figure and immediately transferred a holding deposit and arranged collection in just 2 days to close the deal. They arrived as promised and were lovely friendly chaps.

Guys you made selling our van the most pain free selling private experience ever. You will always be our first business for any future transactions and I highly recommend your service to those changing vans.

I'm on my third motorhome from this company and have found the whole process fair and efficient. No pressure selling and a willingness to let you take your time in making your decision.

Hi all. I'm from Ireland and I bought my very first motorhome from Somerset Trade Campers. I have to thank Barry so very much and also Chris. Before buying the motorhome I was searching here in Ireland. Most of the motorhomes I looked at were in very poor condition so I decided to search in the U.K. I came across Somerset Trade Campers and found my perfect motorhome. I rang Barry and after a few phone calls I got my sister who lives in Addlestone in Surry to do the deal for me. I flew into Bristol airport and Barry arranged for Chris to pick me up. The boys bought me breakfast and Chris went through everything about the motorhome with me. Barry and Chris are fantastic! They went out of their way to make sure I had everything. MOT form ownership form service form and anything of importance. Chris set up my Sat-Nav and then I was on my way to Hollyhead to get the ferry back home. Barry and Chris I thank you so much. We can only praise the aftercare of Somerset Motorhomes.We went on our first trip with our new to us MH and had a problem with our water pump,no hot water only air.Mailed the service team and got an immediate reply.Next morning 8.30am telephone call with help and advice.Offer of an engineer straight away.We were happy to wait until we returned on Monday and could not have wished for better after care service.All repaired within hours and ready to go on next trip.

We bought our first motorhome from Somerset Motorhome Centre yesterday and were very impressed with the service we received from Rob and the team. Courteous, knowledgeable, professional and a great laugh, we felt very reassured that the van would be 100% right before it goes out. There's a lot of pride here in providing great service and enjoying doing so. We would highly recommend this company.

I spoke to Somerset Motorhomes about selling my Burstner on the Thursday. I was offered a really good price and sold the van on the Monday.The funds were in the account immediately. The process was easy and I felt valued as a customer. Even during Covid the staff were all friendly and keen to make sure everything went smoothly. Very trustworthy and nice people!

A totally trustworthy family run business - I have rarely been treated so very efficiently and kindly. I received a very fair outcome and extraordinary service, and cannot recommend them to new and fellow motorhome owners enough - I have dealt with other dealers in the past, but this one outshines them all. I see other reviewers stating that they would not usually bother to write a review, but in this case the service is so good - and that is exactly why I am writing this one!

Sold motorhome to Somerset Motorhome a week or so ago.
Fair price agreed, holding deposit put into my account in minutes and balance paid on collection two days later.
Nice to deal with people who do what they say.

Somerset Motorhome purchased our motorhome recently.
I don't normally leave reviews however coming across a company that has great staff & good honest values I felt I needed to. Dealt with Simon, who was very approachable & efficient.
We agreed a price & the motorhome was collected within days. Payment was cleared whilst the collection took place, again very efficient staff arrived on time to manage the collection.

Found the sales team really good, not pushy and helpful. I went round all the other local companies and found the sales team the best.

However I have not had the same experience with the service team.

I purchased a motorhome from them, when I went to collect it there was a problem with the internal power. I waited while they fixed it.

I haven't use the van power since as the 2 trips I have had were off grid and only 1 night stays.

At weekend I took the van to London. The internal power wouldn't work.

I contacted them by phone one Monday. I was told someone from the services team would ring me back. They did not.

I emailed them a few days later asking for someone to contact me. I got a email reply saying that my warranty was up and they don't have the time to take on any retail work.

As a single female I thought I had purchased from a company with high standards of customer care but I seem to have got is a company who isn't interested after you have made the purchase.

They did suggest another local firm.

We bought an Autotrail Apache from these guys. It was exactly the layout we wanted and at the right price. After sales service was excellent and without quibble under the six month warranty. Throughout we found both the sales and service personnel very helpful and professional. I recommend them and although it's likely to be some time before we buy another motorhome, wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We recently took the plunge and bought a motorhome from Somerset Motorhomes (Sept 2018). We found the range of models very comprehensive and we were not pressured in any way. We were left to play around with the layouts and facilities in the motorhomes. The staff were very helpful in answering any questions but never pushy in any way. The purchase of the Motorhome we chose went very smoothly and we were offered a good deal. The handover was also smooth and helpful. We did have to take the motorhome back for one small issue after purchase and the staff couldn't have been any more halpful and efficient in dealing with the problem. Very very happy and would recommend them unreservedly

We have viewed a number of campervans over the years at Somerset Motorhome and have always found the staff helpful and informative. We recently took the plunge and bought a Hillside Leisure Birchover hightop from them..

The sales process was unpressured and the paperwork completed efficiently. The handover of the vehicle was efficient and comprehensive, with a few freebies included. I would happily recommend this company to anyone looking for a motorhome.

Always willing to listen and sort any problems. If they dont sort it first time, they will keep on until they fix it. Would definitely use them again.
