I had a great experience for my house buying process. Heidi who was looking after my case was great at keeping me updated and reassured, along with advice for each stage. She was also great in chasing up anything outstanding on my behalf.
It was also particularly nice that she called me once the final document had landed, purely to let me know over the phone and celebrate.

I had a really positive viewing…
I had a really positive viewing experience at SO Flexi Slough. Sandhiya was very honest, informative, and took the time to clearly explain how the rent to buy scheme works, which I really appreciated.
The homes I viewed were finished to a really high standard , modern, well presented, and felt like great value for money. Overall, it was a very helpful and reassuring experience.

Takes longer than 6 - 8 weeks they estimate!
the paperwork you get when starting the staircasing process estimates it takes 6 - 8 weeks to complete. I started the process just before Christmas, it is now nearly the end of March, and still not completed! Which also means I am not going to complete by the 31st March, so I will not get the £1000 incentive they offered for buying additional shares.
Majority of the delays have been caused by So-Resi, So far I have had to chase them 4 times to get them to send requested information to my solicitor! So frustratingly causing delays.

We always aim to complete staircasing transactions within the estimated timeframe, but this can vary depending on how quickly all parties—particularly both sets of solicitors—are able to progress their parts of the legal work. We appreciate delays are disappointing, and we understand how important the 31st March date is to you.
For transparency, we have provided all required documents, including the buildings insurance, to your solicitors as part of the initial instruction pack in February, and we have continued to respond promptly to every request received throughout the process. The remaining outstanding items at this stage relate to solicitor-to-solicitor actions outside of our control.

Klaudia Miara was fantastic
We have recently purchased a shared ownership property and SO Resi has been so great and helpful so far. I would like to specially mention Klaudia Miara who was very reliable, has very good communication, very efficient and very responsive, we had a lot of troubles with our solicitors that made the process very delayed but she helped on chasing up for everything to get back on track. She absolutely was a star, she made sure everything is taken care of! Very much happy with her customer care and so resi overall. I will recommend it!

SoResi showed up going extra lenght
Since the very start, from the viewing then the offer things were very pleasant having all the answers to my inquiries and swift response timing. All my communications with SoResi were very nice informative and efficient. I was able to get lease extended as I wished . The process was smooth until a critical point when things got difficult with The managing company ( which is not SoResi responsability) to get the paperwork needed to close the deal . That's when SoResi stepped in again to make things happen, chasing, and going extra lenght communicating with all the parties invoved to get the ball rolling. I really apreciated being able to speack over the phone in real time with SoResi in that critical moment , Nikolay Yankov particulary. They gave me the relevant informations with transparency clarifying the process and what was missing . Nikolay Yankov has been a Star, kind, available, working extra hours and going extra miles for the transaction to go ahead in time. Massive thanks to Nikolai. And a big thank you.

I have ventured into shared ownership not really knowing much about the whole process at all, Gordon & Vanessa were in charge of my case.
Gordon was my first point of contact and he always made sure to answer all questions and explain the process meticulously. Vanessa also helped with other legals/ paper work matters and to get everything signed off within the time frame.
