I can honestly say that over a number of clients during July I have had nothing but amazing service from all of the team at Sort Refer and their associated conveyancing partners. I trust no one else to look after the legal services of my clients.

Abbie and Lisa have been nothing short of supportive, proactive, friendly and accessible. The sale of our property was completed with the minimum of fuss and expedited without delay. A service well worthy of 5 stars.

Wonderful service by the solicitor firm for my first time buyer clients and I could easily get through to the solicitors to advise on clarifications etc.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this platform based on my experience.
As a broker, I initially trusted Sort Refer because of their promise to step in and help resolve issues when needed. However, I’ve found that they have very little control over their suppliers.
Case handlers frequently ignore communication from Sort Refer, and it’s common to go over four weeks without any updates. In some instances, I was told the handler was on holiday—remarkably, the same person was allegedly away six times over just two months.
Even more frustrating, when I raised a complaint that delays were putting cases at risk of falling through, their response was simply to remove the provider from my account, claiming they were taking the matter seriously. In reality, this seems to be a way of deflecting rather than addressing the problem, especially since several of my colleagues have faced the exact same issues with the same provider.
While the idea behind Sort Refer is promising, the lack of communication, accountability, and meaningful support makes it an unreliable tool in practice.

Good at the basics but lack of willingness to communicate with the client and be helpful. As with many solicitors, there seems to be a lack of connection between forms/information being sent in and being retrieved by the relevant solicitor acting on the case. Denial of receipt only to find it had been received and in the system at some later time

Great communication, proactive, pleasant to deal with and an efficient process from start to finish. David Hesse has been brilliant, and we very much hope to work with him again in the future.

The communication from the case handler was terrible throughout, even when a complaint was raised, this was not acknowledged. Client missed completion twice due to poor communication and organisation from the case handler.

Great service and communication from Mahenoor for one of my clients on their recent remortgage that completed today. Would highly recommend him.

Rory was exceptional. After a difficult onboarding process, he really took ownership and I would highly recommend to friends and family. Selena was particularly helpful as well.
