Callum always responded to every question we had.

Excellent at updating the status of the case so always knew what stage it was at. Best of all it was completed on the same day as the mortgage so need to chase that up.

Kept updated and once charge lifted went very smoothly.

Another smooth completion by Sehar at Hennah Haywood Law.
Sehar is one of the Top Solicitors we are using through Sort Refer system.
Highly recommended.

I did not need to get involved and the client was delighted with the service.

Worst Ever firm Sort Legal, they are the new firm on the block, they are the worst solicitor firm I have come across in my 57 years of being a Mortgage advisor I dealt with numerous solicitor firms when I approached Sort Refer they were as they all said in the UK now 'Unfortunately" there is nothing can be done. Sortrefer has a panel of solicitors for brokers and all the other firms were at least ok, very slow but ok, I have stopped using them and do not recommend anyone to use them. I am now using broker conveyancing which is great for brokers. best of luck if you use sort legal, who are the pits?

As the Mortgage Adviser on the case, we instruct the solicitors through a panel of providers, you don't always know what you are going to get. This was an especially tricky case and perils a plenty. I have to say Daniel Brannigan has been nothing short of exemplary on this case, his attention to detail, care and consideration throughout, is the measure of 5* star service.
I don't think many others would have stuck to the task with such dedication and determination. An absolute pleasure dealing with you, keep up the service, thankyou for your support, throughout this matter.

Absolutely appalling service provided specifically by Solicitor Bilal Mirza and Gorvins Solicitors as a whole.
Communication entirely lacking, Bilal took that long with conveyancing the Offer expired and had to be re-applied for. Concerns raised with Steve Mann and Kerry Sharples neither of which ever decided to contact me or deal with.
Have had to get SortRefer involved.
Will never recommend Gorvins again

I always ask for Muhammed Choudhury at Sort Legal when I have clients re-mortgaging, residential or Buy to let.
He is always conscientious, approachable and friendly even when I have had sometimes difficult cases/clients.
Can't recommend him highly enough....

Easy to Instruct, contacted client swiftly, survey carried out quickly, so all good.
I have not used Sort Refer for Surveys before, but will now in the future.
Thanks Peter

speed or service and constant communication

Gorvins have rapidly gone downhill.
There was a conveyancer called Rachel Hewitt, she was very good.
But Gorvins have fallen to the same fate as almost all conveyancers. Too much business being taken on, leads to lack of communication and care for their customers.
I wished Rachel hadn't left, she got it right every time.
I have experienced multiple other conveyancers for my client's transactions within Gorvins and unfortunately none of them provided a good quality of service.

Based on the client experience and lack of communication during the whole process for myself the broker and the clients I could not write a positive review. The broker portal was not updated and had incorrect information ie the clients paid the search fees as soon as requested but still showing in the portal awaiting search fees! I had to resolve this and confirm with case worker and getting sort refer sales team involved to get replies. The clients had contacted the caseworker directly for confirmation to this and other questions but never got a reply! A lot of other things were not correct like Help 2 Buy official closing statement needed before applying to drawdown the funds from the lender, would not initially accept the mini closing statement issued to the client in the branch. I had to contact a local solicitor to confirm if a mini statement could be used and they confirmed yes so I advised the caseworker. Just overall not a good experience and every first time buyer now will be recommended to use a local solicitor firm.
