Very good hearing test. No rush and explanations were very good.

An very good, courteous and expert service. The audiologist is knowledgable and helpful. It is a long way from where I live but I am happy to travel in order to get such a great service.

I've been seeing Derek for 9 years now and have just had my most recent hearing test and adjustment. As always the service and attention to detail is excellent and I always leave knowing I am able to hear as well I possibly can. Experience is everything and Derek's knowledge is second to none. Backed up by the brilliant Lorraine out front I would recommend them to anyone!!

I experienced some discomfort with my ears and the Sound Advice - Hearing were able to fit me in the next day. Both the receptionist and the Audiologist were so friendly and helpful. The Audiologist was gentle and explained procedure well.

Simon is wonderful as indeed are all his Staff at the Horncastle Shop. He is more than patient with two ‘oldies @ 86 & 84’ who struggle with modern technology both physically and mentally and very willing to pop in and ‘rescue’ us - as I am now wheel chair bound and we are dependent on very lacking public transport.

Sound Advice works with all the major hearing aid brands and is completely brand-neutral.

Together with Suzanne Simpkin who runs the front office, I doubt there is a better team operating in the South of England and we are very, very lucky to have them working in Winchester.

Louise recently prescribed a pair of latest-generation Widex aids for my dad, and it’s like his hearing has been rolled back fifty years. I’m a keen pianist with age-related hearing loss who recently suffered sudden hearing loss in one ear. Louise prescribed a pair of Phonak aids and designed and uploaded a custom profile that allows me to hear a grand piano with total clarity. So yes, this kind of thing takes a great deal of skill and great deal of commitment, and that’s what you’ll get here.

Finally, both Louise and Suzanne have terrific senses of humour, and whether you’re visiting them for a hearing test, ear wax removal or to test the latest hearing tech, you’re going to have a great experience.

I’ve been a customer of Sound Advice for several years now. I’ve just returned from my annual review appointment when Derrick adjusted my hearing aids to accommodate the slight change in my hearing since last year. He also gave me advice about advancements made in hearing aids since I bought mine and although I’m not ready to replace them yet, I would not hesitate to go back to Sound Advice to buy them when I need to.

This is a professional and proficient service! Louise is an excellent Audiologist and has looked after my hearing aids since I bought them from her. Always helpful so I would highly recommend them.

She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and at ease. The entire experience was smooth and efficient, and when she left I felt confident in the results. I highly recommend Jess to anyone looking for a thorough and friendly hearing test & service.
