We bought all our wool duvets from Jessica almost 21 years ago. I cannot emphasise enough the excellent quality and loving care which has gone into the making of them. We have never slept under anything else. Our favourite all year round one is a wee bit thin now but still does well. Might I add, our dogs have all learnt to scurry under them in the winter!! Over a few years I have bought several products from Southdown Duvets. The quality is second to none, the service is excellent and the wool is from Britain. Jessica and her team are helpful, friendly and informative, online or by phone. This truly is a top quality product from top quality company.
It's said, "you get what you pay for", and it's true. I've not been disappointed.

I LOVE these duvets! We have had one for years but recently bought a second to combine with the first. My partner then attached it with poppers so it doesn't move. It has made us so cosy, every time I wake up in the middle of the night or in the morning I luxuriate in the absolutely perfect heat, it's never too hot and it's added the extra layer of warmth that we needed on top of our existing one in winter. I feel so grateful to have the most comfortable bed in the world now! Also Jessica is fantastic and friendly and was able to find our previous purchase in her records when I called up, it was a pleasure to chat with her.

We have had our Southdown duvets for two weeks now and are delighted. My wife and I sleep at very different temperatures so we have a 6ft bed frame with two individual 3ft mattresses and we each use a single duvet. We purchased 3 single duvets, a Lambkin Lite, an All Season, and a Woolly Mammoth and we think this combination will meet all our needs. We knew nothing about wool duvets but were prompted to look by an advert in a magazine by another company. We researched various company’s products at very different price points and also tried to understand the nature of the wool from different breeds of sheep, that is if this is identified by the producer. It is evident that there is a wide variety of product on the market. The buyers guide on Southdown stood out as detailed and informative and then talking with the wonderful Jessica it was clear to us that we should choose Southdown. For the last two weeks I have woken more refreshed than I have done in ages and intriguingly my wife has stopped snoring. I am sure this is not a claimed benefit of wool duvets but she must be sleeping that comfortably that snoring is not happening. In summary, an excellent purchase, great customer service and a business that we heartily recommend.

I now have a wonderful duvet. It was delivered very quickly and efficiently, making everything very easy. There was a real sense of a personal touch in all dealings with Southdown Duvets.

Love my new Lambkin Light duvet! This is my second purchase. I’ve bought this one specially for the warmer months. I’m replacing all my duvets with these. I love that they are sustainable and biodegradable/fully recyclable

I have recently bought both a wool pillow and a duvet from Southdown Duvets and am delighted with both purchases. They are evidently high quality, soft and cosy with the pillow providing just the right amount of support. The key difference however is that sleeping under a wool duvet genuinely does regulate my temperature and being woken up in the night due to overheating - a familiar experience for me previously but now seems to be a thing of the past. This has improved my night’s sleep enormously and I am definitely an enthusiastic convert to wool. Finally the customer service is excellent and I rate the company’s values highly.

The best shopping experience I have ever had and an outstanding product. I bought a duvet for my husband who has had disturbed sleep for years. Outstanding customer service and fabulous products. I bought a duvet about a year ago and have now bought a pillow to go with it. They are worth every penny and I wouldn't be without them; they keep me super warm but without overheating and my sleep quality has improved enormously. Added to that, Southdown provide truly extraordinary customer service. I decided I needed a warmer duvet than the one I originally tried and they swapped it without charge and also suggested I tried two different types of pillow before making a decision to make sure I got the one that suited me best. They go above and beyond to ensure that everything is right. Thank you!

I have had my new Lambkin light duvet and two different size wool pillows since Monday, and goodness l am converted!
I have severe back and neck issues, which are additionally arthritic, alongside menopausal night sweats….just be grateful you are not married to me! Although the jury is still out on the pillow, as it is so different to a synthetic one, not being as bouncy, the duvet is a game changer! My night sweats have been massively reduced, 5 down to one or two, and l love the way it has some comforting weight but manages to still feel airy….snuggly but airy, definitely special sheep! For the record the sleep survey and pillow survey has meant that we are confident we have the correct duvet weight and pillow depth. We are also sure that the pillows are right, just that they are different so taking a few days for that to be our new normal.
Really though, l did so much research, as we are a low income family, and it was such a big investment, but l made a good decision. The pillows, even as ex demo, and the duvet are beautiful and have no smell. Jessica was reassuring on the phone about their return policy, making an expensive purchase less scary. Even when l phoned her today, to say how thrilled l was, she reiterated that if the pillows weren’t right to get in touch. But we will not be returning these fantastic products, however l have already recommended them to friends and family.
You get what you pay for in this instance. I have no regrets, only that l didn’t hear of Southdown duvets sooner.

We bought our Southdown duvets about 14 years ago. Have never looked back. The woolly mammoth is particularly appreciated in the cold Scottish winters. Hello Jessica.x

I knew my new king-size medium tog Shepton duvet that I bought from Southdown duvets would be amazing, but I didn't realise just how amazing until I slept with it on my bed for the first time. To be honest I have been quite astonished at just how much my quality of sleep and relaxation has improved. I had an asda duvet previously and my new duvet I bought from Jessica is absolute heaven. I only wish I'd bought one sooner! Saving up for the pillow now 😊💫❤️ I highly recommend 👌

Just bought the new snap down quilt cover. The design is so good, genuinely makes getting a quilt into its cover straightforward and easy. The material is lovely too, and has a soft silky feel to it.

Would have loved to have given Jessica and her team 10 stars! Customer service is impeccable. I spoke with Jessica on the telephone prior to ordering and she could not have been more helpful giving me great advice. Ended up purchasing a woolly mammoth which has been perfect for us. It is a joy to sleep under and could not be more pleased. Jessica also sent me 2 different pillows to try so I could see which one was most suitable. Unfortunately, the pillow wasn't quite right for my needs (in size) but Jessica was so understanding and helpful nonetheless. I would not hesitate to recommend giving Southdown Duvets a try to anyone who is looking for natural bedding.

Excellent and prompt service of simply excellent quality products that you can see and feel have been made from start to finish with proper knowledge, care & attention to detail and a real desire to improve your sleep - and it works. I took their sleep survey and ordered my duvet online on Sunday, it was delivered on Tuesday morning, slept under it last night and had the best night's sleep in ages.
