The class was pretty good, I would have liked a little more hands on practice during the initial demonstration to help retain the instructions, but in general a good class, great facilities!
Got this as a present for a southern girl who relocated for love. She misses home, so the first chance we got, we sent her the Heritage basket. She loved it and took pictures of what it looked like.... See more
I have found the last two hands on classes wasteful of time. I will only attend non hands on from now on unless targeted for more advanced cooks. A long lesson in cutting onions, for instance, wasn't... See more

I ordered a specific basket for its contents but substitutions were made without consulting me. The baskets are very nice and the food is always great but I wish the basket contents were as described.
Southern Seasons is always a great place to send a quick gift! Great prompt service!
Have shopped at Southern Seasons many times and am amazed at the choices of merchandise available to the shopper. I am especially in love with their assortment of peanuts. I order the plain ones for gifts and to just have them at home for my family. It's a great place to shop!!!
Requested coffee be ground for a Keurig. When I received the coffee I was so excited I was ready to brew a cup....opened the box oh no whole beans! Called I was sent 2 lbs of coffee ground and they told me to keep the whole bean. Was disappointed I had to wait a few more days, but very pleased that customer service took care of their mistake no questions asked!
Growing up in Durham in the 80's, I made my Saturday ritual trip to Southern Season to shop for coffees and other wonderful treats. I have lived out of state for the past 20 years and I still shop on-line. Items I order are accurate and here in just a couple of days. Southern Season has grown and improved every year. I still stop by to shop and browse the wonderful store when I visit Chapel Hill. A great store with great memories.
The class was filled with folks learning about cooking some very special recipes from the NC coast.
The teacher was a long time chef with stories and special tips on making his recipes.
He has owned his restaurant for a long time.
Everyone seemed to have a very good time as we ate the really delicious food.
I highly recommend Southern Season cooking classes.
Great! Instructor was fun and had a great meal and good wine pairing!
Both items I ordered were out of stock and I was notified after placing my order. Customer Service was not very helpful. It was a birthday present so I had to rush and find an alternative gift with other company.
