We are first time buyers... we filled out the app and were told we were pre approved! So we looked at houses and found one we had looked at before that we fell in love with. We were ready to make an offer. Things got rolling... and rolling and rolling right past our closing date. The loan changed. On to our 2nd closing ... and rolled right past it as well. 3rd times a charm, for most people. Not for us we again rolled right past the 3rd date... whats even worst, is we never knew it had been canceled until 2 days before each date after we reached out, never once did he call to let us know it had changed. We always thought we were on track, until we called him. We had taken days off each time which caused hell. We are no longer working with this company and are already set to close. Worst experience ever.

My husband and I are so grateful and would like to thank Val Nuttall and his team for helping us get refinanced from an FHA loan (and the PMI along with it) to a conventional loan which will save us thousands of dollars in interest over the years of our loan. Excellent service and communication. We live on a fixed income and can now afford some things we’ve wanted for so long. I can't thank them enough for everything they have done! Thank you so much! I was trying to refinance my home with Southwest mortgage. They kept stringing me along for weeks. They told me my credit was one thing when other companies were telling me it was 20 to 30 points higher. It turns out they were lying about my credit score. Even when I showed them the reports from all of the 3 credit bureaus proving it was higher than what they were saying they tried to give me a dog and pony story about how their fica rates are figured. They claimed it was the standard but 3 other companies agreed that my fica score was 30 points higher than what they stated. Then when we were getting ready to close they told me that interest rates were going up in the market and now I had to pay several points higher for the loan and I had to pay $2000 when the offer originally was for no money out. I ended up going with quicken loans. They got me a rate almost the whole point lower than Southwest was offering me with 0 money out. I think Southwest are liars and frauds. I wouldn't recommend working with them.

Thanks to crystal Ogle, krystian,Jenn and Jake coker the straight forward team my husband and I bought our first Home. We thought it was impossible for us to own our own home but this team worked hard and got us funded. I can not thank them enough!

Worst Company I have EVER done dealings with. ..Diane Songer and Thomas Phillips Southwest funding in Birmingham alabama kept giving One Lie after another to us the buyers to the sellers and the relators so much that the selling agent even wrote a brutal email to Diane Songer telling her what an awful service she was doing handling this sale..So much nightmare thru this loan cess I could write a Book instead of a review..and after weeks of extension after extension the selling agent pulled out and we lost the deal. Always excuses as to why no return phone calls or why things didn't progress...excuses from weather issues, to daughter had homecoming to be in court.to being sick with laryngitis and could talk.. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND using them..I can't

If you asked me before, I would've never thought that getting a loan could be an enjoyable process. Steven completely changed my perception by being such a pro.

Before we signed on with Steven we shopped around with a few other lenders, including large banks and nationwide agencies, but Steven beat them in both rates and efficiency.

After the pre-approval and before we could lock in, the rate went up for longer than two weeks which made us a bit worried. But during this time Steven had been updating us with latest rates and news frequently, and expressed confidence that it could go back down. He was totally right. We were locked in at our ideal rate one week before closing. Can't be happier.

Steven is really just on top of everything. Not sure what their schedule is, but it certainly feels that our case was taken care of 24/7. Whenever I called Steven, he always picked up. And he was able to explain complicated processes / terms in a very simple, clear way. Nothing seems to be a problem for him.

When we finally met on the closing day, it felt like a reunion with a long-time friend. Very thankful for all you've done for us, Steven. You are the best.

We worked with Joe Diz at Southwest Funding and had a very good experience. He was attentive and thorough in explaining the process. Our real estate agent said he was great to work with as well. Very happy!

Paul and Crystal were amazing during this process. During the process, Paul and Crystal reassured us about all our questions and concerns. Both would answer phone calls any time of the day and would help with advice to help make the process easier. As a first time homebuyer, I would recommend them and appreciate everything they did for my family to help this dream become a reality.
