I was recommended to Spacemaker via my builders doing our house renovation who knew one on the designers . Having used Sharpes twice previously for wardrobes I was a little unsure... however it was a great decision to use Spacemaker! #

All the team were extreemly friendly, helpful with their advice & very professional. They were able to accomadate our short timescale and the instilation went without a hitch in 2 1/2 days for wardrobes in 3 bedrooms and a dressing room. Fitters were happy to make any changes onsite to amend & improve the design.
Especially impressed with the resessed lighting in the predrilled side groves with sensors when the doors open & close. Clean & tidy too!
A couple of minor snags were quickly remedied without any questions within days of asking &
Claire Scowen who managed all this for me was amazing.
The high quality of all the materials & the finishing touches were, I found, to be equal to, if not better than Sharpes. I particuarlly liked the fact that the wardrobes came with fitted backs as standard.

My only other comment it that I would prefer to have the option of a physical brochure, it is not always easy just scrolling back & forth on line. My lovely designer leant me his, so made it much easier for me. Cost vs ease for customer trying to choose!!

Excellent communication all round & I still have one more bedroom to do befoe Christmas so can't wanit for Spacemaker to come back to do this one too.

Thank you Ben and Lawrence for fitting our wardrobes. They both worked efficiently and were very tidy. We had a slight issue with one of the glass panels (not their fault) but they came and changed that for us without any fuss.

Ben has just fitted a run of shelves with cupboards and drawers underneath. Not only are we really happy with the product but Ben was such a professional. He was polite, efficient and unobtrusive and even helped with a small, unrelated problem we had. Thank you. Job really well done.

I love my new wardrobes. From start to finish the process took 5 weeks and the installation was first class.
I would highly recommend Spacemaker.

At this company we are paying a luxury price for a not so luxury product…our issues with this company are still ongoing even after a few months. After the design process and signing the contract, the nightmare began. We had them come out to fit our media wall, of which ended up being ill fitted with components sticking out, shelving being misaligned, the built in lighting not working, other lighting being a completely different colour, scuffed handles, damage to our flooring; frankly the list goes on. We even have evidence of the fitter having not covered the floor/taken care with the fitting process, besides the two small pieces of cardboard place on the flooring. Eventually, after countless calls trying to discuss what we had been left with we finally got an answer. Yet again another attendance and time off work, to be refitted and still our issues have not been solved. We have again been left with the scuffed handles, units now with random drill holes and down lights a completely different colour; as well as no acknowledgment to the damage to our flooring. As I said, this process has been ongoing for months. In total we have had four attendances (just to actually fit our media wall/survey) and a total of seven visits from the very start of the process. All of this said, we easily would have been satisfied had the company responded to our emails and calls within the same week of contacting. There was an alarming lack of communication as to when things would be fitted, what would be done when we had issues etc and the worse part, not even an apology or any empathy on their part as to this painful process that has been dragged out. Unfortunately this is the tip of the iceberg, do not use this company!!

Lawrence was extremely efficient and professional - left the room clean and the installation was great/stress-free. He just got on with it and we’re very happy with the results.

Ben was efficient friendly & unobtrusive. He worked hard & made minimal noise considering he was fitting wardrobes. I was pleased he covered our stair carpet before beginning. He made a beautiful job of our wardrobes & left everything clean & tidy. We’re delighted with our new storage!

They gave great advice and support to design and build cabinets in difficult spaces. Everything was clear, carried out exactly as promised and priced with care and professionalism. Highly recommend.

From the moment I reached out to Spacemaker for wardrobes and media unit fitting, the entire process was smooth, professional, and exceeded my expectations. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:
1. Designer – Creative and Attentive.
The journey began with Nicola, who was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to understand my space and my needs. She was not only friendly and approachable but also provided innovative ideas and considered our suggestions too. The design process was collaborative, and she made sure to incorporate our preferences while offering expert suggestions. I felt like my vision was truly being brought to life. Nicola truly champions customer service and she is subject matter expert in design and consultation. I was almost so close to place an order with a different brand but once we met with Nicola she completely changed our mind to go with Spacemaker due to her exceptional product and industry knowledge and amazing customer services. She is definitely an asset to the company.

2. Surveyor – Precise and Detail-Oriented
Once the design was finalized, the next step was the surveyor visit. Steve was punctual and thorough in measuring the space. He asked relevant questions to ensure the final design would work seamlessly in our rooms and that there would be no surprises during installation. It was clear that he knew exactly what he was doing.

3. Fitters – Professional and Efficient

On installation days, the fitters arrived on time and with all the necessary tools and materials. Ben, Mark, Lawrence and Gary worked efficiently and professionally, taking great care to ensure everything was installed to perfection. They were respectful of my home, cleaned up after themselves. I was impressed with their attention to detail and the quality of the final product.

Overall I am absolutely thrilled with my new wardrobes and media units. The entire team at Spacemaker has been fantastic from start to finish, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. The combination of great design, expert surveying, and flawless installation made this a stress-free experience, and the end result is a furniture that perfectly suits my space and lifestyle.
