Excellent and fast transcription :)

It's so good to know that our material is treated with such great care and what comes back is an error-free transcription that our team and clients greatly appreciate. I have used other transcription service providers a few years ago but when I found Speechpad, I haven't used any other since. The prices are just right, the service is incredibly fast, and the scripts are accurate and excellent in quality. You guys are the "household name" in our business when it comes to transcriptions. The website is easy to navigate, check out is smooth, delivery is prompt whether it's on a rush order or a regular order (I've used both), and the transcription is excellent. No complaints or reservations. I recommend them all the time.

I'm a journalist and for years I've painstakingly transcribed my own interviews. It's such a daunting task. I heard about Speechpad and its great service at a great price and tried it out. I was not disappointed. Love, love, love Speechpad.

Very pleased with transcription quality

I had five videos on our firm's website, and wanted to get transcriptions for them so that the search engines would index their content. I found Speechpad, uploaded the videos and the next day I had all five transcripts in my account. All that for less than $24 (even with the extra charge for faster processing). Accuracy was surprisingly good; I only needed to add a comma here and there to make it read better.

Need to transcribe videos for a book I'm writing. Frustrated with how long it was taking me. Then discovered Speechpad. They have been great! Accurate. Quick. And reasonably priced.

Under promise and over achieve is a great way to run a business. Whenever I've paid for the 24 hour service, the job is completed really fast. However, if I request a 72 hour service, I'll track the job and see it's perhaps 3/4 done by 24 hours but then takes almost the full 3 days for completion. I find that a little disappointing.

Otherwise, quality of deliverable is outstanding, with very high accuracy.

I have been asked SpeechPad to transcript some files with quite difficult subjects. I am not 100% satisfied from the srt files, since they are not taking under consideration the subject of the speech and/or the pauses of the speaker. For example the speaker says something, pause for a minute maybe and then he changes the subject... but this is in one sentence in the srt file.... I have spent quite of time to update the srt files in a more proper narration before I upload them to the video.
Also, I made the payments through bank transfers and afterwards I spent a lot of time and sent many emails trying to have the invoices marked as paid.
Apart from that, there were some mistakes in the translation, some minor, some very understandable as there were references on foreign names etc, but some also were resulting in sentences that had a complete wrong gramar or had no meaning at all.

Despite of all of the above, in general I am satisfied with the results of our cooperation in the meaning that they did a work that would take many weeks of my time to do it myself.

We use this service to help my girls write their college essays. We have a conversation and record it. Then we get it transcribed and they use that to edit and outline their main topic. Then they refine it to the final draft. It's so much easier to write this way. So glad there was this transcription service. Live it.
