At SL, I dealt with Monika Galuszka who handled the selling and purchasing of my properties. I have instructed conveyancers in previous transactions and can honestly say I have never received a service like I have with Monika. She invested a lot of time and effort into the transaction, dealing with many many hurdles efficiently and professionally, going above and beyond to make my life easier and I cannot thank her enough. The service was accessible, I was always kept informed and never felt out the loop. SL will certainly be my regular conveyancer going forward and Monika played a huge part in this positive experience.

We recently completed on our purchase (last Friday) and used Spencer Lockwood solicitors. I was wary at first, using solicitors we were unable to physical go visit however the purchase completed and we are finally, after a year and a half trying to move (nothing to do with spencer Lockwood's)- in our new home. The experience was okay, the job was completed in the original timeframe given to us. The price is reasonable. We were kept up to date at all times.

It was my first time trying to get a mortgage and Jasmeen was very helpful throughout the process. It was a great company, good and quick completion of my mortgage. We had quite a stressful experience with SL solicitors :(
Whilst they may have Been One of the cheaper options recommend by the Mortgage broker in hindsight we should have chosen someone else.
Part time ‘partners’ with no opposite cover meant enquiries were often unanswered for more than 3-4 days if not longer or at all in some cases.
Very poor explanation or understanding of our circumstances meant we were asked 2 months in whether we were first time buyers and flipped out when we told them we were using £Gifts from parents and Premium bonds to fund the purchase.
No online tool to track progress left you in the hands of updates which we ended getting from the mortgage broker and estate agents.. we could go on such that we made enquiries with other solicitors to start over at one stage… just a bad experience from start to finish, read the reviews and do your research !!!
