Good letting service from the Leicester…

Good letting service from the Leicester branch. Jaswant was helpful from viewing to answering my question over the phone. Jasmine took over and majority of my dealings were through her, via the phone, over the Christmas and New Year and the flu period. She was extremely efficient and effective, as well as pleasant. She provided me with all the information I needed and clearly explained anything I didn't understand. I give Jasmine 5 stars. The only reason I've not given full stars overall is that I had to keep ringing up to find out what was happening, like with majority of estate/letting agents I've dealt with so not surprised.

I was going to buy a property from them…

I was going to buy a property from them through another estate agent, but at the last minute they accepted an offer from another buyer effectively gazumping me and not letting me put in a higher offer. They said that they did not think the deal would go through in time, when it was them who were holding up the process. Avoid at all costs.

Dear team at Haart Letting Agents

Dear team at Haart Letting Agents – thank you for all your help and support in finding the right house to let in Loughborough.

Special thanks to Rami for all the help we received during the negotiations and moving process, we were left informed all the way through and he was pleased to answer all our questions and worries, and I cannot ignore how professional and caring way we were treated.

Many thanks,
Noura

Very encouraging experience of letting through Haart, East Dulwich.

I am letting my flat through Haart in East Dulwich. I moved to Haart after really negative experiences with Portico, which left me really wary of agents. Well, my experience with Haart in East Dulwich has so far been very encouraging. The staff I have dealt with so far are conscientious, professional and reliable. I would like thank Clint, Kellie and Jennie for a very positive working relationship.

I've been using Brian holt in Coventry…

I've been using Brian holt in Coventry ( now part of Spicerheart ) The guys in the office always do their best to resolve any issues. I'm always kept in the loop, couldn't be happier ( and I've seen my fair share of bad estate agents previously believe me ) That's why I still use their services and will continue to do so.
update, since brian holt was taken over by spicerhaart things went downhill rapidly. so much so that i complained and reported spicerhaart to property mark who then held a hearing where spicerhaart lost the case and were fined and also ordered to pay costs

Good service

I’ve had a good experience with this company. Some issues with things at the property and the first person wasn’t always quick on the ball but she did try and the guy who took over tries also and chases things up. In fact, he emails me more than I email him. They both work with me to get things done. You sometimes have to chase them up with a reminder but this last guy has been pretty good.

False promises with a polite smile

I was assured again and again that it's ok to earn around 3000 pounds and get a place rented for 1500. That there would be no problem adding another tenant etc.

The screening procedure was not transparent.

I did not pass screening with my income. Now I'm 500 pounds poorer and they wasted a week of my time.

I liked the guy who "helped" me, but in the end it was a lot of promises and no result.

Contractors and Landlords " BEWARE"

Up until April of this year i ran my own maintenance company employing over 20 people, that was until i started working for SpicerHaart, due to poor payment and terrible communication from head office in Essex i had to put my business into administration costing me my livelihood, life savings and 20 people their jobs.
Nearly a year later since i first started chasing my money which is a very substantial amount i still have not been paid, i have chased continuously even driving 3 hours to Essex twice only to be fobbed off.
No directors or anyone with any clout are ever available, and was even threatened by property managers that if we kept chasing our money we would get no more work, CORPORATE BULLIES is the word i would use and it always seems to be the smaller companies that suffer. Also just to let landlords know are you aware of the commissions that SpicerHarrt put on every job ? you are paying 15% more than you need to by instructing Spicer to get any work carried out, we were always told never to mention this commission to landlords or tenants.
This review is completely truthful,l in which i have email correspondence and also a contract to say i would be paid within 35 days but still nearly a year later nothing ? Also the property manager i use to deal with has also off the record of course told me that they do this to all contractors and there are 3-4 contractors in the same boat as me, who have not been paid.
I am in the process of taking legal advice to resolve this issue but this will not bring back my business which i have lost due to BAD PAYERS like Spicerharrt. If anyone from Spicer would like to comment or contact me feel free, but i doubt anyone will.
Very angry contractor from Nottingham

Frustrating, Tiresome and Worse.

My own experience of Haart/Spicerhaart has not been a productive one. At worst it has been incredibly frustrating and fractious.
As a tenant, I have had the perception of being an annoying and troublesome problem, they wish would go away and stop bothering them.
They overcharge for everything to the point of it being close to extortion.

I am going to flag the company up to the relevant parties - but also wish to start a blog to give a place for people to register their complaints.

Would not ever use their 'services' again. I use the term 'services' in a very loose sense !

Appalling Customer Service, Will take your money and not even reply to emails

Hi,

I think spicerhaart is the worst of the agents I have even dealt with. The house that we moved in has several issues like the storage heater need to be changes, hot water taps not working, light holders not working, broken dining chairs and what not. I have written to them multiple times and all they told me sometime ago was that they will get a quote from a contractor.

All follow up emails have been ignored. Engage with them if you want to pay full money upfront and then be shuttled between local branch and management team or worse, as is the case with me, TOTALLY IGNORED.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND SAVE YOURSELF OF THE DISTRESS!!!!!

The worst possible customer "service"

I have been unfortunate to live in a property "managed" by Darlows a subsidiary of Spicerhaart for 18 months now. On the day we moved in they forged the inventory to cover up damage. When the patio door broke they charged the landlord £400 for repairs which consisted of sticking a block of wood across the sliding door so it wouldn't open. They have lied consistently (the only consistent thing they can manage), failed to return phone calls, ignored their own complaints procedures and now that I've made a complaint to the Property Ombudsman have claimed that I didn't pay the rent on time, despite the fact that the standing order was paid as per their instructions.

The whole estate agency/property management industry is a joke, full of cowboys and scumbags but these clowns really take the biscuit.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
