I started using BBCSO Discover and almost immediately I decided to buy the Core version. I am very satisfied with the service, the ease of use and of course the quality of the sounds and their ease of modulation. I suppose the Pro version will be very very very interesting. Almost certainly my next purchase. For those who like me love orchestral music BBCSO is a great choice. Many thanks

An excellent product for the hobbyist composer- a very happy middle ground between Discover and Professional. Mixing is a real struggle for me, so I'm satisfied with Jake Jackson's available mix. No hassle! The instruments sound very nice, and the program is user-friendly (however, it does eat much more memory than I anticipated, despite the fact that I'm using my computer's max amount of RAM: 16GB). I was delighted to find even more gold nuggets in the instruments departed, particularly in the inclusion of the vibraphone and bowed cymbal effects. On the whole a 5 out of 5!
The product itself is good; the reason for three stars is the omission of what I would regard as standard orchestral instruments - lead violin, cor anglais/English horn, and contrabassoon. To get these I have to shell out another £500 for Professional - a disappointing omission from a product that costs the thick end of £400. I appreciate that the instrumentation is clear from the web site, but I was recommended this for a composition course, and just assumed it would contain the full complement without checking - my mistake!
Just what I needed to combine EDM & orchestral music.
Expressive and very inspiring. The dynamic layers are amazing and every interaction with the UI is smooth.
Its a fantastic library.
So good it should be illegal. I’m reporting y’all to the FBI.
Absolutely amazing
Very good sounding library, especially with Dorico and Walkanders Note performer.
I love to use this with NotePerformer 4. Realistic sound and no micromanaging hassle when composing with a notation program.
I think that BBC SO core is realistic and you can imagine a real orchestra playing your score, mainly for strings. I really appreciate that library. Maybe with BBC Pro, you can make productions for movies and others but for a composer that needs only to taste sounds before giving the score to a conductor, BBC Core does the job with tremendous and realistic sounds.
Great sounds! Great price during spring sale. Easy download.
I like the dynamic range and the large sample library. It's a big difference from the "Discover" version. I love the simplicity of the controls. But most of all the sounds are very nice. I look forward to many projects using your products!
The sounds are excellent but I found no solo string instruments were available, i.e, leader. Hence, I could have stayed with Discovery which I loved but couldn't use it for say, Bachs double violin concerto.
In one word: AWESOME! In a nutshell: A full symphony orchestra under 30 GB with this stunning sound quality, my ears still can't believe it. Spitfire, you've done a great job here again, thank you!
Phenomenal brass string woodwind and percussion library that sounds like one cohesive set of players. Amazing library, best I’ve used.
A Big step up from SO Discover. Brings orchestration to life, feels very professional. Also great using Spitfire, so easy to access the product.
Simply awesome.
Great plug-in. An entire orchestra with a vast collection of articulations and effects, takes up a relatively small space of about 30 gigs. I'd say this was the best 450 dollars I've ever spent.
It's great. As a composer it allows me to explore new and better ways of orchestrating, offering me a high quality sound. Easy to use and very intuitive.
