Owning a spitfire library was a dream of mine for ever since I heard about them about 4 years ago. Finally this Black Friday season I bought my first 3 spitfire libraries (BBCSO and two originals), I don’t know how, but they managed to exceed my expectations, working with the libraries is very intuitive and the sound is phenomenal, looking at BBCSO core which is less than 30gb and yet being richer and way more expressive than any other library in it’s price range while being half the size, seems like witchcraft to me. On top of all that, I registered as a student (in order to get 30% off), but my request was approved only few hours after I already purchased the libraries, but when I contacted Spitfire’s support they immediately suggested a refund for the difference.
The Sounds can really put you in the theatre. Sitting in a 12x10 studio and be able to record at Carnegie hall is quite exceptional.
It's just a fantastic sound library for a price that defies all competitors. The sounds are insanely good and realistic, the controls over articulations, expression, dynamics or even mic positions are incredible tools for composers. I strongly recommand.
Sounds are top notch, and I really like the interface. Easy to figure out, and a great selection of instruments, and articulations.

Very rich and warm sounds, really fun to play with the the modulation wheel; such a nice control over the sounds and i also enjoy all of the different articulations.
Absolutely beautiful samples of orchestra. Amazing to look at and easy to use
Excellent string section, a3 horns and trombone sound great but the rest of the brass seems 'synthetic'. Woodwind section is beautiful, Timpani and harp are amazing. I love the number of articulations and the smooth legato transitionsl.
Great sounds for all the instruments of the VST. Every group of instruments has its specific controls that can be used to make a phrase very realistic. These controls are very easy to control, making the experience of BBC Symphony Orchestra VST great! I strongly recommend this product!
Even if you already have an orchestral library, buy this! It's so fast, the basic mix is fantastic, and the CPU and RAM use is tiny! I was convinced I needed a larger library...but I spent the difference on other libraries and have a much more diverse setup - BBC Core handles everything so well and with wonderful ease of use. I previously used East West Gold, and there is no comparison. BBC Core sounds like the real deal.

A great product. Easy to use friendly plug-ín type interface. The quality of the samples fantastic. Minor complaint: Some obvious gaps - No Cor Anglais? Anyhow that's a very small grumble. Overall an excellent product and good value for money on special offer.
