Hello, the Piano Pro sounds great. The core version is limited to a single mix. While the Pro version has 15, so you can design your own piano. Now I am working on a cycle of pieces for solo piano. I plan to do 2 versions, one with the P MIX1 and the other doing a different mix for each piece to bring out the materials with the different mic signals. For example, in one of the pieces there is an ostinato that evokes distant bells, there I have put, for that only material, the BALCONY microphone. I am also working on a piece for Flute and Piano. For both instruments I am using BBC SO Pro with a custom microphone mix to design a chamber music environment. In "Son del Mar" for orchestra I used the Originals Intimate Grand Piano, the same as in La Llorona. So now I'll have to post a version with BBC SO Piano Pro. The update to version 1.7.0 brought many problems in the MIDI mapping of the module, triggers, global volume, global tuning, among others. I'm delighted with the sound of the BBC Symphony Orchestra Piano Pro, but this time I can't give it 5 stars, because the new update has been fatal for the work I had in progress.

This piano library - set in the same studio space as the BBCSO - is rich, deeply sampled, compact enough, and superb sounding. I have perhaps 20 piano libraries, some great, some good, some lesser quality - but this one stands out as one of the top-top libraries I am sure I'll use. Couple that with the same ambience as the orchestra and it's the perfect accompaniment to that and will blend seamlessly and beautifully. I look forward to using it extensively. Thanks Spitfire for a great product I know I'll use.

A very versatile piano. With all of the mic selection it makes it very easy to "dial in" a sound that fit's your needs and more importantly, fits into your mix!

Fantastic. Credible. Real, detailed... He is at the center of almost all my achievements and I never cease to admire his sounds. The astronomical potential!

I think it is a fantastic addition to my orchestral template! Not only do I use it as a part of my orchestra, but I use it to sketch out my ideas! Fantastic sounds, huge amounts of detail!

I’m a big fan of Spitfire and own most of their products. But I was really disappointed with this one. Advertised as their “most detailed piano to date,” this is simply not true. I have learned to trust Spitfire and without that promise, I would never have purchased (since I already own the very good Hans Zimmer Piano and many excellent pianos from other developers). I will never use this piano and regret my decision to buy it.

The piano, being recorded in the same space as it's mother product is fitting and thus complements the Orchestra. Naturally, one could use it with other products, but using it in conjunction with BBCSO simply makes sense.
