This is a great tool and in some circumstances could be the cherry on top! Surely a excellent bread and butter for instant ideas.

Pros - Overall good and very usable types of sounds. Cons - Would be so much easier to use if the middle velocity layer was a bit wider. - Overall EQ is a bit on the brittle and honky side.
Absolutely amazing product..They quality of these sounds lead the imagination. Makes it seem easy!
it’s a simple brilliant library... it has sounds of piano, guitar and strings you will fall in love with immediately! Even the whole can be written just using this library.. thank you Spitfire Audio!! 10/10 Bravooo....
The three velocity level feature of this product is absolutely brilliant
I love CDT even though im not a professional musician. Their toolkit gives me alot of inspiration and its very...very well put together!
I though that I was going to really LOVE this product and couldn't wait to buy it but I have tried to use it three times now on some very important projects, and I just can't seem to understand how this product works. I was under the assumption that it came with some nice patches and orchestral sample lines but if it did I cannot find them. UP to now every Spitfire product that I have used I have really loved but for some reason I can not seem to figure out how to use this one,,maybe I am missing something.
Stimulating.
Initially very excited for this product but upon using it for a while I can already see its limitations. The sounds are high quality but there is little in the way of manipulation, especially when it comes to pulses. Also as someone who plays guitar I can’t get very excited about those samples. Will be used but as part of other libraries. I would probably recommend LCO Textures as an alternative.
excellent soft
Amazingly intuitive. Creatively powerful.
This is exactly what I'm talking about with distinctly original sample libraries. Everyone has a string library, but Spitfire Audio makes these unique sounds that are instantly inspiring that you can't easily get anywhere else.
Was all i have need for my work
Although very good with sound variety it has less space for moving ideas around if comparing to British Drama Toolkit that has sounds of natural instruments.
This toolkit is a beast. Perfect for atmospheric, droney intros to songs, for extra little ear candy shots, layers for a string section. There's something here for everyone
When time is of the essence this is a great tool to put something together fast that can effectively show the composers intentions and a glimpse of what the final mix may convey.
Very useful sounds that can work in a myriad of situations. Even if you choose not to use this as a primary kit, it still functions extremely well as a complimentary set to your own custom kits. Either way, Contemporary Drama Toolkit is a perfect dish.
Just a pleasure to play and create with this library.
Will leave you slack jawed and inspired.
Just open it up and let the magic happen, perfect for inspiration without persperation.
