Nice Library for getting a smaller ensemble feel. Works well for action sequences where hearing a personal/close instrument is needed.

Great sounding strings.
I agree !
Wow. What a sound.
Spitfire Solo Strings is everything I hoped it would be. Virtuoso is incredible straight out of the box.
Very nice, clean strings. Really loved it, it sounds as if someone’s playing the violin or the other instruments right next to you.
This is a great product, the instruments all sound beautiful and have amazing depth. I'm disappointed that the long articulations only have one Round Robin, but otherwise I can hardly complain!
To be honest, I'm very unthrilled by the interface. If I could reorder I would have chosen Abbey Road Two, but unfortunately I didn't read the fact that there is no refund until after I tried it. This is unfortunate as with this kind of money spent there should at least be an exchange policy.
Phenomenal product. If you put in the work, it sounds like a professional played it.
It would definitely be better product if it had its own dedicated interface/workspace (like some other products do) instead of running through Kontakt. Kontakt is an eye/mind sore, and has a tired Windows 95 feel to it. Something like what you have for Abbey Road ICONIC STRINGS would be much better. Please?
!!!GET ICONIC STRINGS INSTEAD!!! Clunky to use. Had difficulty achieving a believable sound with this library. The samples themselves are excellent, I just found the playability to be sorely lacking compared to their other products. Like Abbey Road Two: Iconic Strings, the library I got after this one disappointed me so. Now *that's* a proper library! Sadly, I doubt I'll ever touch Solo Strings again.
Excellent sound and performance. My only critic is that the keyswitches are an octave lower than the lowest note on a 88 key keyboard with no apparent way to adjust them.
Poorly designed plugin. Does not sound good at all.
They sound pretty good
i cannot find more beautiful string sounds, and thus far, i'm finding navigation of the interface relatively intuitive and very pleasant. excited to explore the "Sacconi Strings Quartet" soon! thanks y'all!
pristine recordings and sampling of wonderful instruments in this collection - opens up a huge palette of expressive possibilities.
Just what I was looking for. Loving all the options, including the mic settings and legato styles.
I purchased the Spitfire Solo Strings library as a little Black Friday gift to myself and swiftly jumped into the process of downloading/installing; UI was intuitive and easy to use and offered me no issues. As soon as I got a chance to test the library, I was floored. The total performance cello patch found an immediate home on one of my current projects and will have many more homes in the future. Excellent job Spitfire!
I've only played around with this library for about a week, but so far I'm very impressed. All the articulations, and extended technique patches sound great, even without reverb. Great stuff!
Absolutely magical! No one can tell it’s a plug-in except me, In a mix or solo with vocals this plug-in is just magical!!
