Special quality. I can't find more beautiful string sounds.
My first paid library from Spitfire and I’m extremely happy. I’ve been using the free BBC Discovery library for strings and in some cases they have been too massive in context. I got the SSS library mostly for the smaller sections but also for legato and especially flauntado patches, they both sound amazing. In a more intimate context the library sounds more appropriate. 100% recommending!
The product appears to be exceptional however, you’re asking me to review before I’ve really had a chance to use it!
Plenty of character and a rich sound makes these strings standout in a mix. The studio addition only comes with the tree mic, but you wouldn't know it from the sound quality. A few tweaks to the solo instruments can dial in clear dynamics to make them pop. There are tons of articulations and FX's to keep the composing vibrant, dynamic and fun. This is a great choice for newcomers or veterans looking for that professional cinematic sound in one package.

Awesome! Love it.
The sound of the library is great. Articulations and dinamic layers are complete and effective. On the other hand the managing the all the articulations, within the UI, is not quite simple. Now I am doing my best to learn.
This is an excellent library with plenty of articulations. The strings are drier sounding enabling use many genres including rock and pop.

Still have a lot to learn about using this product. So, my review on the product itself isn't of much value, since I lack a thorough understanding on how to fully take advantage of Spitfire Studio Strings, or indeed many of the Spitfire products I've purchased over time.
Great product
Just what I was looking for in a more intimate string library. Was easy to get up and running. Great articulations. Fantastic quality.
Amazing stuff. Had an experience of recording the orchestra in a Theatre building and then ading some Spitfire strings to make it sound more intense and wide. Great product.
It's ok. Inconsistent levels. Wish they were not so shrill. Have to work with them a lot to make real.
The sounds are amazing, don’t get me wrong. But for the price, the interface is absolutely abysmal. I literally can’t even read the text in Kontakt without zooming into the screen. This is both on my 15inch retina MBP and 4K monitor. Please please update this to match the quality of the newer spitfire libraries then it’s an easy five stars for me.
