These strings sound amazing. And there’s so many articulations even in the core version. Made my Native Instruments library obsolete. Will complete my collection with Studio brass and woodwinds soon.
Im very pleased with the sound and playability of these strings! Before buying them, I was concerned about the mic options because it doesn’t come with all the different mic options as the pro version, however, the sound is so great that I didn’t really feel that I would ever need the other mic options at all. Im sure the Pro version has a lot of positive add ons like divisi and more mic options but this one got enough for me to use them in my film and tv music.
Very easy to purchase, download and install. A first class service from a first class company.
Very clean and balanced library. I particularly enjoy the FX patches as they can spice up the dynamic of a piece in any genre. The strings themselves are fantastic, as well. They can add a lushness to other string libraries or work as a standalone library, as it achieves an intimate, "close" chamber-like sound.

Not sure why it is not mentioned more as a great fit for contemporary rock music. The amount of articulations and size of the ensemble make it a great fit.
I Chose Studio strings as it seem to offer the next level of control I needed in what I'm working on Having watched the on the on site videos I really liked the sound.Also as my processor just an AMD quad core I was limited in the libraries I could run so given that it seemed a good choice for me. However while the installation of both the sound content and the Kontakt Player was seamless I have been unable to bring it in to Dorico or Cubase so have been unable to use it so far. Working on that. Had got BBCO Discover ( free version thanks ) around the same time and as that was a plug in and didn't require Kontakt was immediately recognized by both programs. The expression maps and playback template available on the site are big plus also
Out of the three I was considering (Chamber Strings, Symphonic Strings and this) I was drawn to the one with very little ambience so that I had more control over what splosh I would add to it myself. The amount of articulations are ridiculously large and very useful when you dive into it, and I'm sure I'll get around to using them all at some point. The performance legatos are perfect and I like the smaller size of the sections (a kind of mid-ranged chamber size) to add detail to any compositional layers. Great instrument!

My purchase was awesome but there’s a problem that block me to buy other Spitfire libraries, The “reset” system is very annoying and can create problems only to legal users. I know there’s a piracy problem but only one reset is a great problem.
I am very impressed with your products. And I was that before I decided to buy. And I really love Aperture orchestra. Unfortunately, it will be some time to save for the following plugins. I'd like to get some from Hans Zimmer. Absolutely great! I recommend everyone to buy these plugins!
Is the best strings library for pop music. Non reverbs or effects to confuse customer. Great sound and blends perfect with drums, guitars etc. On the other hand, the interface is very poor, with tiny words. In this days is important having a good presentation. Other thing is that is not possible to divisi in legato mode and you need to open different instruments for each voice. Also is not possible to program changes in articulations and you have to open several instruments (or at least I don't know has to do it maybe because is not clear). Anyway, the sound itself is the best I've ever heard. Much better than LASS or other products. Fantastic violins legato that is always a problem in other libraries.

Extremely well recorded and full of life. Very useful embellishment samples. The most authentic and versatile I have used.
Excellent sounds just wish I could afford the studio woodwind and brass. Perhaps later.
