great service from Steve and his team, he really understood my wish list and has produced a product that is spot on, and matches the other windows in the house. Steve was very patient with me changing the order as my circumstances changed.

The windows were installed professionally and carefully and the fitters were neat tidy and friendly.

Very pleased with the end result and nice to give custom to a smaller local business.

It was good to do business with this company. We needed a bespoke new rear door to match with the rest of the house. Spittlywood understood the problem and sorted the solution with no fuss. A most professional company who produce beautifully crafted and thought-through solutions to bringing double-glazing to period homes.
The process to introduce a newly formed double-glazed panorama into the large bay window of my Edwardian home was detailed and precise. I was given revised accurate drawings after each a alteration to the plan. At the site visit Steve took care to ensure that he understood how i wanted the original features of the window to be retained. He offered some lovely ideas of detailing.
The installation team were great. Hard-working, knowledgeable and experienced. They made sure that all the fine adjustments were made to the opening and closing of the windows. They cleared up beautifully at the end, leaving me with a wonderful piece of craftmanship in place.
I highly recommend the service offered by this company.

Spittlywood manufactured and installed a replacement wood front door and frame. We are very pleased with the end product. Steve, the owner has attention to detail e.g. prior to final completion of the door in their workshop the door glass was sent back to the supplier, as Steve wasn’t happy with the quality and chased the company until they had sent him fault free glass . Steve kept me informed of progress and was very responsive to emails. The workmanship is of a very high standard and Thomas the installer did a good job fitting the door leaving the site clean and tidy. The installation was completed in a day as promised by Thomas and it is wonderful to have a completely draught free front door. I would highly recommend Spittlywood .

Steve and his team were fantastic from start to finish. We couldn’t be happier with the finished windows which are great replicas of our originals but so much more efficient at keeping the heat in. The fitting process was done very efficiently to ensure minimum disruption. We would recommend Steve to anyone.

Had new windows and doors designed, made and fitted by Spittlywood. Made of solid wood, factory painted in a lovely smooth white finish. Professional service all the way - and the installers did an amazing job - perfect!

Excellent experience. From initial survey and quote through to final installation and finished product. Nice guys, very helpful, reasonably priced and high quality product (timber stable door in our case). Will use again for future works.

Spittlywood made a bespoke front door for my property. I have to say the workmanship is second to none. Thomas, who fitted the door was extremely conscientious and his attention to detail was faultless. I would highly recommend Spittlywood for any carpentry requirements.

I contacted Steve Spitty by email on 2/3/21 to say would he be interested in replacing four windows for me. He replied very quickly and asked me to send him photos and measurements, which I did on that same day.
I waited a week and then emailed to ask if he had received the photos, and would he be in a position to give me an estimate soon.
Again, there was no response from him, so I waited yet another week and then phoned the company landline and left a message on the answerphone.
When I had no response I phoned his mobile to say could he please just let me know whether or not he was interested in doing the work for me.
Guess what? He did not respond.

Lovely doors. Workmen very efficient and did a good clean up afterwards. Good follow up giving us details of how to treat the doors to keep them looking good. I would recommend them.

Spittlywood manufactured and installed a replacement Accoya wooden door and frame. We are delighted with the results. The workmanship appears to be of a very high standard and the installer was very clean and tidy whilst undertaking the installation. The installation was completed in a day and we are already benefiting from now having a draught free front door.

Spittlywood were able to tailor the job to our requirements and the work was completed to the price originally quoted.

Some delays along the way but definitely worth waiting for.
