Great Service but Expensive Returns

Order number: SF1336413
Good overall experience. Fast delivery (7€) and the product was exactly as described. However, the return cost (15€) was more than double the original shipping cost, which I find quite high. Apart from that, everything was handled professionally.

Initially, I gave 4 stars because of the high return fees, but I’m updating this to 5 stars. I forgot to mention that I had removed the attached product tag, and customer service kindly confirmed it was not an issue. That level of understanding truly deserves full appreciation. I really don’t like giving negative feedback (even 4 stars 😁), so 5 stars it is, with pleasure.

The delivery process is very bad


The delivery process is actually very bad, it doesn't follow what is written at all - it says that delivery in Europe takes 4-6 days, but we don't receive the parcel for more than 11 days. And they don't provide any explanation, they only write a formal letter saying they will contact you.
We haven't received the purchased item for a month, and the seller, unfortunately, is not helping to solve the problem. They are in no hurry to refund the money. A very difficult experience: no money, no item, and lots of emotions..
But thanks to the company for the comment here, I finally found out that something is being done : )

We understand how frustrating this situation is and we sincerely regret the delay in delivery.

Your order was shipped on 21 January and handed over to DHL. According to the tracking information, the parcel is currently delayed within the international shipping network. As soon as we noticed that the shipment had stopped moving, we initiated an official investigation with DHL and requested further clarification. For this process, a signed recipient declaration was required, which we received and immediately forwarded to the carrier.

Please note that in international cases like this, we are dependent on the shipping provider’s final investigation result before we can take further steps such as a refund or replacement. We are actively following up with DHL and will resolve the case as soon as we receive their official response.

We fully understand your disappointment and assure you that this matter is being handled with priority.

Actual shipping times may differ substantially from the published estimates.

Extremely poor customer service and lack of transparency.

I experienced a 19-day delay on a standard order with no proactive communication and incomplete information when I explicitly asked which items were delayed and whether partial cancellation was possible.

Responses were slow and dismissive, and my request for reasonable compensation for the inconvenience was outright refused.

Delays were repeatedly blamed on logistics and holidays rather than acknowledging the service failure.
If you value clear communication, accountability, and responsive support, I would strongly reconsider ordering here.

Your order contained several items with different delivery times, which were communicated during the order process and again in our email correspondence. On 10 December, we provided a detailed breakdown of which items were affected and explained the available options, including partial delivery. As no clear request for partial cancellation was given, the order was processed and shipped in full.

All three parcels were successfully delivered on 29 December. After our last message on 30 December, we did not receive any further inquiries or requests from your side.

We understand that delays, especially around the holiday period, can be inconvenient. However, in this case the delivery was completed and handled in line with the communicated timelines. We regret that this did not meet your expectations and appreciate your feedback, which helps us continue improving our communication and service processes.

Return costs definitely too high

Return costs definitely too high. Pay attention at the return costs based on your country (for Italy they are 20€!!!)
Even the shipping costs are too high

Ordered a Berghaus Hwalker 2.0 Jacket

I have ordered a Berghaus Hwalker 2.0 Gemini 3IN1 Jacket L on a discounted price on 07.12.2025, with shipping destination to Hungary. Their website clearly states that they are shipping to Hungary has shown available stock from the Jacket in size 'L' that day and it shows this size being available till today.

On 08.12.2025 the order has been confirmed and a DHL shipping number has been provided.

A couple of day after on the 11.08.2025 I suddenly received an email saying my order has been canceled without me requesting the cancellation. I feel extremely dissapointed, as I read positive feedback about the company before my purchase and clearly followed their instructions on their website.

Update - 2025.12.15. - Their Customer Service contacted me, they are trying to dodge my request. However based on their T&C-s with the dispatch of the product the purchase became legally binding, 2§

'Die Auftragsannahme durch uns erfolgt durch eine gesonderte Auftragsbestätigung oder durch Zusendung der Ware.'

Customer Service is not helpful at all.

Update - 2026.01.08 - SportFits tried to request the removal of my review from TrustPilot, instead of reaching out for a discussion. Of course I have provided proof of purchase and email exchange with SportFits.
Absolutely disgusting, I would like to add 0 stars. Order number - SF1253144

Your order was confirmed and handed over to our shipping partner with tracking information. Unfortunately, the delivery could not be completed and the parcel was returned to us by the carrier. You were informed about this by email. Once the return was processed in our system, it was automatically forwarded to our accounting department for refund processing. At that stage, a re-dispatch under the original order was no longer technically possible.

The full refund was processed via the original payment method within one working day after the return was registered.

We understand that this outcome is disappointing. We regret that this experience did not meet your expectations and appreciate your feedback, which helps us further improve our processes and communication.
