Very positive experience

I've found at SportFits the children's back protection I looked for cheaper than elsewhere. The purchase was easy on the website and the package arrived in France fast and safe !
So, my first experience with SportFits is very positive.

Extremely Poor Customer Service and Unacceptable Delays

I am currently having an absolutely terrible experience with Sportfits starting from 28th September. After returning a defective product (with proof of drop-off provided), I expected a straightforward resolution.

Instead, I have been met with weeks of vague responses, repeated apologies, and zero progress.
Despite multiple follow-ups, confirmation that they received the item, and three separate requests for a refund, Sportfits refused to process it promptly. Their excuse was that they needed to wait for a replacement item from the manufacturer—even though I never asked for a replacement. This is completely unreasonable and contrary to consumer rights.

It has now been over six weeks, and I still have not received my refund. Communication has been slow, repetitive, and dismissive. I even cited the Consumer Rights Act and warned of legal action, yet they failed to respond.

This company’s returns process is inefficient, their customer service is unhelpful, and they do not respect consumer law. I will never purchase from Sportfits again and strongly advise others to avoid them.

I still haven't received my refund.

In your case, the item was forwarded to the manufacturer for technical inspection, as you preferred a decision to be made directly by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, processing times can vary for warranty processes such as this, and we have no direct influence over them. When the manufacturer later announced a replacement delivery, you requested a refund instead, which we naturally took into account.

Once the process was complete and the manufacturer had sent us the replacement item, we immediately issued a corrected invoice so that the refund could be prepared. As soon as the final formal steps have been completed, the amount will be paid out.

We very much regret that the process did not feel transparent or fast enough for you. Your feedback is important to us and helps us to further improve our communication.

Unsatisfactory experience

I ordered a pair of shoes from SportFits (SF1156168) and noticed shortly after that the price went down by around 16 €. I kindly asked if they could send a small discount code so I wouldn’t have to return the product. I was told that this was not possible.

So, I returned the product and ordered it again. After all the back and forth, there was a total difference of about 7 € in my favor. I think SportFits should review the return policy on pricing, at least when the return is issued within the same country.

The whole process created unnecessary extra work, packaging waste and shipping emissions. This felt unreasonable for such a small matter that could’ve been solved with a bit of customer service flexibility.

SportFits wasn’t obliged to offer a discount code, but doing so would’ve encouraged me to make orders in the future. I thought I’d become a regular customer because their prices seemed fair, but this experience alone was enough to change my mind.

Swindlers!

I ordered a canoe, which was an offer. When received, I came to the conclusion that I ordered the wrong size. So I returned the product immediately, without checking the complete content of the box. The box was very damaged when it arrived and all the holes were covered with tape. Seeing the size of it, I had no other option than to use the same box for the return.
Now, Sportfits claims that the canoe had been used, and sent pictures as proof where even the glue tube of the repairkit has been used. But no signs of anything that has been repaired/glued on the canoe's skin. Apart from all the other damages that were photographed, this was the most remarkalble and suspicious. It feels to me that someone made a little bit too much effort to proof that the canoe had been used.
I have definitely not used the canoe. Sportfits refuses to refund the full amount of the purchase, claiming they cannot sell the canoe anymore. I won't be surprised if the same canoe will be on their website again soon as a special offer.
Total amount of my damage: 600 Euro!
Such a fraud!
