FINAL UPDATE: received retainers in the last week of April. So far, they seem to fit properly and function correctly. Product is as advertised.

I am leaving a final review of 3 stars, because manufacture and shipping are exceedingly long. I would choose another company if I were in a hurry (my retainers are night-only to ensure a lifetime of alignment). Customer service was helpful *when issue was escalated,* but not before. I only received tracking info *when I escalated* after a month. I would have preferred a more proactive approach after initially contacting them.

EDITED TO ADD: organization has contacted me with an offer for expedited management of this order, and seem interested in resolving the issue. I will update further when I receive the item.

I share the experience of some previous posters. I made an order on 12 March, and am sitting here on 21 April with no tracking information or a shipped item. In an email I received NINE days ago, they said my item would be out of the lab in 2-5 days.

There are a number of these companies out there. Avoid this one; they need to organize their business more effectively and offer some kind of financial compensation for operating outside of what they publish on their website. I escalated this to my payment provider for a refund.

I needed to order a replacement retainer and Sporting Smiles confirmed they still had the dental impression on record . This made my re-order so quick . Their online re-ordering system is so efficient and quick. Thank you so much

I made mistakes on my first batch and they were able to provide me extras. It took time but it was still alright. My retainers fit alright, it just took some time to get used to it again

Used them before in the past for my first set of retainers I missed up and they had sent me more

I have ordered from sporting smiles a few times, and every experience has been great! My retainers have held up wonderfully, and my guards have done great for night time. The ordering process and doing your own impressions are so easy. I’ll order from here instead of the dentist every single time! I end up paying less for more products, and they are worth every single penny.

Before knowing about Sporting Smiles, I was already using a mouthguard and it was turning yellow and dirty. Sporting Smiles made it extremely easy in helping me create new mouthguards! They have other options such as retainers and whitening trays. They have a simple step by step guide and video on making your impressions at the comfort of your home! Customer service is amazing and I was so happy to receive my mouth guard! The cool thing about Sporting Smiles is that they have different options for mouth guards based on what youre looking for and comfort level. I’m currently re-ordering more since they have the file of your impressions up to one year!!!

The dog chewed up my son's retainer and rather than paying the orthodontist $500 for a new set we searched online for a budget friendly alternative. Sporting Smiles seemed like it had great reviews and when I called with some questions a live person answered the phone and handled my questions with professional kindness, I decided to go with them. Very happy we did. It took a few weeks and a few more phone calls but we got it done. Definitely order the additional putty. Felt like I was kept informed throughout the whole process. Great company

I sent my impressions in years ago and the retainers fit snug/the way they should..just reordered twice for loose fitting retainers and they still are putting my teeth out of alignment. Hope I can help someone save time and money by not going through this company

This is my 2nd time ordering upper retainer for my daughter. The 1st one fit great! It fit better than the one we actually got from her dentist that actually made her original mold. Each time we got from her dentist, they had to grind and fit so they didn't hurt her gums, sporting smiles were perfect right off the bat and that was even using her original mold from her actual dentist!! Unfortunately, she lost that retainer within a month. So, just had to order another one. I'm sure this one will fit just as good, and I can't wait for her to get it! Keep up the great work, you have my business for sure!

I’m some one who can’t hold on to a pair of retainers. With SportingSmiles I’ve saved so much $$$ on replacements and been able to keep my teeth straight over the years. The process is always easy. I will NEVER wast money going though a dentist again.

I used sporting smiles a little weary on reliability but the customer service is excellent and they are very responsive to emails. The retainers came in perfect and fit as expected. This is so much cheaper and more convenient that going to my dentist!

Sporting Smiles works very hard to make certain that the mouth guards it makes are a proper fit. I have ordered three mouth guards from them and find that they are comfortable and stop my jaw pain from TMJ. I have recommended this company's mouth guards to several people and my sister and husband have ordered guards from them. I know that a mouth guards such as the ones from Sporting Smiles will fit and, therefore, I will actually wear it!

Ordering retainers from SportingSmiles has been a very easy and quick process, without having to spend time at the dentist's. The retainers fit perfectly and I am currently re-ordering a second pair!

I've ordered twice now from SportingSmiles and I've had no problems. I actually prefer their PLUS retainers to the one I received from my ortho because it's thicker and less likely to crack/break. I sent them my molds from my ortho and they sent me the retainers; it does take a few weeks to process. The only issue I had with the retainers is that I wish the top are contoured to the shape of my teeth like invisalign rather than just straight across, but that's more of a preference as it does not impact the functionality.

I love using sporting smiles for my retainer needs! They definitely have a customer for life! They are affordable, easy to use, and even more amazing now my impressions are saved in their data base which makes reordering a breeze! I love ordering from them. I always get the premium retainers and buy a few to have at my parents’ house, boyfriend’s house, etc. as back ups. Super useful!

I have been using sportingsmiles for many years and ordered a handful of retainers from them. Every retainer has fit well and I have no complaints!

I ordered my first set of retainers from SportingSmiles in 2016 after I left my first ones at a hotel on vacation. It took about 3 weeks in total the first time to get the finished retainers the first time. The process to get them is very easy. You just take an impression of your teeth and then email them photos. You then send them back everything in the box that it comes with.

2 weeks later I got the finished retainers and I was really surprised by the quality of the retainers. They were nice and clear and fit snugly on my teeth. They were just like the ones I got from my dentist if not better. I even took them to my dentist on my visit and he said they were quality retainers. I thought he might be mad at me for going online, but it wasn’t an issue.

Since my first order, I have ordered 5+ times from SportingSmiles. I love that they keep my impressions on file and I can get another fresh set of retainers with a quick order. It’s less than 100$ to get a reorder of your retainer. I grind my teeth a little so It’s always nice to be able to get a fresh pair of retainers so easily. I would recommend giving them a try they quality is great, the price is way less than the dentist and their customer service has always been awesome.
