Good product, with good instructions for assembly. For me, and this is just my opinion, I would have preferred there to be smaller gaps at the four corners of the main feeding platform to stop seeds from falling off. But product well made.

Very nicely made.
Sturdy and a good size as a feeder or hibernating box.
Delivery was good.
Would purchase from here again.

Absolutely superb product, the best Hedgehog house available anywhere in the world, and I've seen plenty.
A good size, excellent quality timber,and the rot proof roof is ingenious.
Will shop here again.

On the whole; since we are generally happy with the Hedgehog House, that we received, we are leaving 5 stars but in doing so we are making allowances because it is a small company and we are ignoring some issues as listed in the Cons below that arguably could reduce the star count.

Pros:
(1). It is a good looking Hedgehog House.
(2). It was well packed in a strong box for transportation. - (That said; upon arrival the roof catch was slightly misaligned but we soon tweaked/corrected that).

Cons:
(a). The time delay between placing the order and despatch is too long.
(b). They never answer the phone and they are quite slow to respond to emails.
(c). We did not receive the manufacturers badge. (Not a huge issue but if you buy a mercedes car you want the emblem on the front and if it shows a manufacturers badge you should receive it with the proper badge).

The hedgehog house looks great, nice and roomy and well constructed with good, solid wood. Unfortunately there was a delivery problem with DHL, who I find the worst courier company as I've never yet had a delivery when they say they are coming.

Really cross with this company and with Amazon. Seller unresponsive. I purchase a hedgehog house together with multiple other related items for my mother's birthday (straw, gravel, copper wire to deter slugs, feed bowls and food) and when it arrived the plastic ties were somewhat loose and one side of the parcel cardboard was a bit torn/loose - nothing major. I did my best to tape it up and somehow wrapped it (with one useful arm - more later) in copious amounts of paper which took me a long time. My partner and I (who do not live together) then drove it from London to Stratford upon Avon to give to my mother. When she opened it, the hinge was ripped off on the left side and the tunnel was cracked. I have been trying to get a refund ever since so I can replace it but to no avail. I have asked for it to be collected because I cannot even lift it. I have a frozen dominant shoulder and would struggle to carry it with two arms. It was delivered and since it has already caused so much inconvenience frankly I don't see why I should have to somehow get it to a post office a mile away which it is not even possible to drive to even if my other half was here with his car. He rarely is - he comes on a Friday from London on the train and near never brings the car because there is nowhere to park. Seller has ignored requests to collect and all Amazon keep doing is telling me to return it and/or that they have refunded and there is no need. Good job that I had not disposed of it then (not sure how I would, for reasons already given) because today they admit no refund has been issued and I DO have to return it. Lies. Seller is to be asked again to collect it otherwise I am left without recourse it seems unless I pay to have someone collect it. it is huge. Heaven knows how much that will cost. In the meantime my mother does not have the main piece of her birthday present and I, frankly, am furious and very fed up. Avoid this company.

V good product and website. Only slight issue is orders take time due to small business, so just so customers are aware and don't get anxious I think you should tell them it could be up to 2 weeks for an order

The hedgehog box is fabulous. It is very well constructed and sturdy and I am confident that it will survive many winters enabling our prickly friends to do likewise.

Insufficient packing which caused one of the edging strips to come off the bird box , you could tell the box had been roughly handled as one of the corners was dented , a child could have packed it better.

£25 for a bit of wire & not even all the fixings needed. Over a week to deliver

Very well made house and has a hedgehog family living in it already! Came recommended by a hedgehog rescue, and is very well made - beautiful craftsmanship.

Good product but took too long to deliver and it takes 2 people to assemble
