Previously I had bought the Gameboy ITA bag, it was even easy to change my preorder to another color after they were announced, & with that experience I felt confident to buy more from this shop. Especially since I've only had one bad experience with a small business. Unfortunately, in this case, I was sorely mistaken.
I backed both the Everyday ITA bag & the ACNH passport, even moving my money over to a preorder on the shop site after the passport KS got taken down for copyright & the design was changed (wasn't as cute but I had set my heart on it as a gift idea). I felt I was very patient & understanding, expecting minor changes in design at most as things progressed & delays due to the pandemic, but everyone has their limits.
Promised fulfillment of the items were end of Summer & Autumn/Winter 2020 respectively. My correspondence with Stami went on from March, when I began to worry since I still had received nothing though they claimed packages had been sent out, until July of 2021. I really had to force communication, there was a lot of sending follow up questions & waiting on single responses, & ended up having to ask for proof of shipping before ever even receiving anything.
The first red flags that prompted the initial communication from me was that not only were there new project KS/preorders on their page while they claimed to be struggling to get out the orders they needed to fulfill, but they were also listing/selling the products that many people (including myself) who backed/preordered had still not received yet for an even more discounted price (early bird prices are supposed to be decently discounted). I kept an eye on comments & noticed anything not positive was being deleted (at this point they have comments turned off completely & are sending out sponsored ads).
When replacements for the missing passports were supposed to be shipped out to me, they claimed they no longer had what I preordered & I had to pick different colors/designs (though after looking on their site it looked like those exact products were in stock & being sold), no longer wishing to deal with the situation I settled for the changes, then went on to receive only the half of my order that was changed on 6/21/21. I received the other half of my order 7/8/21 (after asking again for proof of shipping). I received the ITA bag later that month & I have to say that absolutely none of these products were worth the money I paid or the hassle I had to go through to get them. The quality was not what was promised & so many customers had similar abysmal experiences & issues.
In response to the email they sent in August saying I was in the top 5% of their best customers & I can get a £2 coupon for a review here: This has been such a frustrating & saddening experience overall & I won't be buying from this brand again.

I backed the Everyday Ita Bag on Kickstarter.
I can barely use it because it's so flimsy, I can't use it as a backpack because the strap is so short and thin, and it came pre-wrinkled and dented.
No customer service offered at all, not even the flimsy £5 credit for their own store that they're known to offer sometimes.

AVOID.
Waste of time. Awful business.

I brought a bag in the sale. It has alittle window so I can display my pins whilst on the go. The product is lovely and the quality is unbelievable. Its a lovely soft faux leather with lots of room. Owner is very friendly and was happy to answer a few questions I had before purchasing.

I was looking for more froggo pins to add to my collection and I came across Stamis Frogots pins and fell in love!! I’ve even ordered more, the quality is spectacular and the packing is simple yet cute! I really love this store and definitely recommend it 💕

This is the second time I ordered from Stamistudios, and I only can say I am totally in love with there products, high quality and I am really looking forward for my next parcel

Wouldn’t recommend. Took over a year to receive my product, and ultimately the quality was poor and disappointing. It is not something I’ll end up using. The owner seems inexperienced and way over their head; my order was incorrect and missing items, but I was told they won’t be able to fix it for months due to them being busy doing fulfillment for their kickstarters. In general, they do not respond to their support emails in a timeline manner or at all. Would give this site and its kickstarters a hard pass in the future.

So a wrong address and knocking a bunch of neighbours’ doors later and I finally have my third ita bag (second replacement). The quality is slightly better than the previous two but still not brilliant overall. The pins often fall off the insert due to not being able to put the backs on especially if they are heavy / large or only have one prong. The panel came off without me even noticing (thankfully in my hallway so I was able to rescue it) so I think I will have to make my own insert and do some Velcro adding to make the bag truly useable which is a shame. Customer service was painfully slow as usual and I had to prove that the address was wrong because apparently the automated system used couldn’t possibly put a wrong address down… Except it did… I think that had the issues been communicated with more honestly and timeliness I would have been a lot less frustrated and angry. Things going wrong is understandable but I do feel that Sam has not taken responsibility for the issues most backers have experienced. I don’t think that I would be able to back or buy from Stami Studios again just due to the hideous two month ordeal I’ve personally experienced to sort out the issues and the anxiety and stress I have been put through which is such a shame as I usually love supporting independent creators. Perhaps in future Sam can consider this as a learning experience of not taking on so much so that the item quality is such of previous bags such as the gameboy bag which has been long lasting and strong for a friend who owns one. Overall, don’t ever support this creator, and read their Kickstarter for true experiences of their backers.

I would love to rate this seller higher, because they really do make a lot of items. But getting ahold of anyone for customer support has been impossible. Comments are limited on Instagram so you can’t even comment on posts which is disappointing. But I’ve emailed their support email and regular email three times with no response. I was claimed as a “top 5%” customer, but I’m missing two orders that I placed quite some time ago. I have tried to reach out with the concerns on these orders, but I’m worried that I may have to open a claim on them due to lack on contact or support. I understand being busy but there isn’t even an email to say we will get to this in a matter of time. My emails just seem to go unanswered.

I bought Stami’s animal crossing passport, that in August of 2021 STILL has not arrived and I doubt ever will. Never got a shipping confirmation even though she claims to have sent them out in March of this year. I also backed their everyday Kickstarter that never arrived and she CHANGED the design of the panels AFTER the Kickstarter collected funds so people could not withdrawal. They also did this with NO NOTICE UPDATE and just replied to comments about the change. It feels intentional that Stami withheld changes to keep as many backers on as possible. I would not have backed if it weren’t for the panels that got changed. I wanted to do nothing but support a small buisiness but im so disheartened at issue after issue. There’s claims the positive reviews on here are bribed or are her friends and I wouldn’t put it past them at this point. Really disgusted.

Where do i even begin?

Well, stami studios was the very first kickstarter that I’ve supported. I backed the everyday ITA bag because I thought it was so cute and such a smart concept! Pandemic hit and everything got delayed which was very understandable. I backed up her project in kickstarter as soon as i can and even ordered 2 bags and added extra panels too. Now, i’ve got the 2 bags after a year….. And felt very underwhelmed. :-( I tried to ignore it but some of the snaps to put on some panels doesn’t even stay for 3 seconds… the quality of these ita bags are so terrible… i even feel like it’ll fall apart if i put a water bottle inside and used it for a whole day. The front panels doesn't even properly align, some of the leather is already cracking when i opened my package. I also did not receive the exclusive kickstarter pin that every backer was supposed to get. If only i didn’t back this thing up from kickstarter, i would’ve returned this. For more than $100.. i could’ve gotten a nicer quality bag somewhere else. I just feel so discouraged to even back up any creators in the future. Especially that they were already a known creator before i even backed this up.

I use to love stamistudios until I got the Everyday Ita Bag. There has been a lot of complaints of poor quality, missing products, or just not getting there order. Stami has responded by ignoring Kickstarter comments/DMs, deleting the email address she provided for kickstarter backers, and turning off comments on her social media. She is doing her best to runaway with the money and not give out any refunds.

She has even gone as far as to BRIBE customers with coupons to her shop if they write a good review here on trust pilot. Please take any good review here with a grain of salt! They may have been bribed.

Digging into her past, apparently this isn't the first time she's made ita bags that are poor quality and people complain of missing items or not getting their items. And it's not the first time she's ignored those complaints as well and ran off with their money. Please BEWARE of stamistudios!

I can't speak for the quality of products sold on her shop, but I would definitely avoid her kickstarters!
After backing the project for the everyday ita bag on kickstarter we had to wait over a year for the product to arrive, and when it did she had made several changes to the product without informing backers. She didn't give any explanation until backers started to complain and then tried to say the changes were for the better (despite the bag clearly being lower quality than what was promised). Since then she has refused to give any refunds, replaced bags that have literally fallen apart with the same poor quality product and completely ignored comments from her backers and on her Instagram!
I wouldn't be so upset if she had either given updates on the changes during the manufacturing, or at least admitted that the bags were not what was promised, but she has chosen not to do either and personally I won't be buying from her in the future.

I backed the everyday ita bag Kickstarter back when it started as an “early backer” I kind of thought I’d have my bag by now but August 2021 still nothing.
I had ordered from the store before an had no problems but the situation now has made me very distrustful of this creator, her stuff is cute but it’s not worth being scammed the £80 I spent.

I don’t advise that anyone backs any more kickstarters from this person unless your okay with disappointment.

To give you guys an idea so you don't think I was bribed into doing this:
One time I ordered a kirby hoodie on Sam's website and as soon as I got it, I managed to spill motor oil on it! The pink color was ruined by splotches of grey and black. The hoodie was no longer posted on Sam's website so I reached out via email seeing if there was any way to get another, expecting a "sorry it's sold out" response. To my surprise, Sam ordered me another one just for me. Cannot say how happy I was at her splendid customer service!
