Static nails
Static nails, owned by Alexis Irene Companies tried to steal over $218.25 from me. Nails were sent back by my post office for some reason, and for a month tried to get my money back. They would say they would look into it then nothing. Then put in a dispute with PayPal... Told me they would look into it, but asked me to close my dispute anyway.I'm so glad I didn't. They still didn't make it right. They lied to PayPal and sent teaching info saying I got the nails. I had to call Paypal and point out the proof said the nails were delivered in San Diego and I live in Texas. It has been awful terrible customer service.

These nails absolutely destroyed my real fingernails. When taking them off (after a week and a half of wearing) they peeled off several layers of my fingernail. This will take months for my nails to recover. I would never use these again.

The pictures of pink and white not even close to real nails. I ask to return they give me a speech about picture taking. I need to do thid snd thar. Their product is not whay i see in their pictures.Don't but them.

Do not buy their new magnetic lash products— the liner does not work and the lashes look nothing like the website photos. They claimed to look natural but I received giant caterpillar lashes that looks nothing like the photo. This company also have horrible customer service & zero accountability on what they sell aka - non existent return policy— if the product does not work for you— it’s your fault for buying their faulty products and you’re out of all sorts of money. Complete scam!
Beautiful nails but so damaging
The nails looked beautiful and lasted a long time. However, they were hard to remove and left my nails incredibly unhealthy. They’re peeling and bumpy and look awful. Also, the polish on the French tip nails I got started chipping off so I couldn’t even see the design anymore. I don’t see any way I can leave a review on their website, even though 5 star reviews are on there.
A one star is far too generous
A one star is far too generous. False advertising. DO NOT BUY
The glue I am not really a fan of
The glue I am not really a fan of. I like the lacquers but I use my own top coat. I think these are too expensive, too.
Love the nails, but glue will damage your nails terrible
I love the nails and their designs. The glue is damaging my nails however. Way worse than gel or dip manis. I am going to try using another brand of glue, but also let Static know. My nails are splitting and getting crazy bumpy since I started wearing them. My nails are so bad I can't not wear something over them now. Terrible.
And they lie and say it's nontoxic! Also the rose hip remover doesn't work.
Quality is poor
I think the nails are over priced, do not last longer than 2 days. I lost the nail and had no idea where it was, so there goes the idea of reuse product. Then I had many more drop off! When I order online with STATIC, BE AWARE THEY DO NOT GIVE FREE SHIPPING ON RETURNS. By time you return for CREDIT ONLY, you really have overpaid. If you must insist on trying buy in a local store. Also there is no phone number! Now I know why they would be overwhelmed with phone calls. Never again.

I ordered these and instead of receiving the pop on nails received polish and glue.
I love that these glue on nails are…
I love that these glue on nails are thin and just look so good. They last me about 5-6 days before I loose one or 2 anx re glue. Last about 10 days. I bought the remover oil stuff they recommend. If I do that to lift off any glue residue my nails are perfect t underneath. I leave a few weeks between applying nails. I use the shortest ones.
Beware if you make a return
Beware if you make a return, you have to request instructions repeatedly (3 times) on how to return their product. Then you have to email them 2 weeks later for the status of your refund, only to be advised you have been mailed a gift card ---for a product that doesn't work.
Bad customer policies! Don’t buy direct!
Made a $75 purchase for the first time for a Christmas gift and in my rush I accidentally ordered three bottles of nail lacquer when I thought I was getting the reusable pop on nails. The picture I ordered from showed a hand with long nails much like the pop on nails picture and I guess I just didn’t realize I’d navigated to another section of the website. Yeah, my mistake. I contacted them to see if I could exchange the unopened, unused bottles and the answer I got was a big NO. Gee thanks a lot. I can’t use this expensive polish which according to their website I’d need to spend another $30 for their primer and top coat in order for it to even work. No thanks . So that’s a waste for me. I wouldn’t recommend buying from them. If you want their products buy from a retailer like Nordstrom or Ulta as they will return and exchange and actually care if their customers walk away happy with their purchase.
I don’t recommend this product… I…
I don’t recommend this product… I REALLY wanted to love it. I purchased two sets and invested in the glue bottle and remover as well because I was expecting to like them. The short story: Cute but one of my nail sets was flawed, they aren’t long lasting, they aren’t really reusable, and customer service if you aren’t satisfied will not really help. The long story: The first set was flawed with little black dots on the nail I needed for my thumb. Customer service suggested I file another nail to fit and they could give me a $5 credit… I’m sorry but that’s not enough for the fact that I couldn’t really use those nails (excessive filing would defeat the purpose of buying these nails for ease of application). They said they could send a return label and I could ship the nails back for a replacement set, so I opted for that. In the meantime I tried my second pair. I followed all application directions and tips but still three of the nails fell off within 24 hours!! I’m a teacher so my job isn’t really that labor intensive… I only used my hands to write on the board (one of the nails fell off after overnight before work even started). I had to remove the rest of the nails at that point and I used the remover product from Static Nails again following all directions and using a special tool to gently push at the edges to remove the nails. Many of them cracked as I was removing them, so that shows me they aren’t really reusable even if I had a full set to reuse. When I reached out to customer service again to let them know I just wanted a refund on the flawed nails since I wasn’t even satisfied with the product, they said they weren’t able to do that. So I just wanted to leave this detailed review so that others don’t make the same mistake I did wasting money by rushing into buying these nails just because they look cute!!
WARNING FALSE ADVERTISING
WARNING WARNING - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I would give zero stars if I could. These products and this company is wildly disappointing.
1st - the glue is actually superglue and makes your nails stick to your skin on the sides and under your nail. You have to use that much glue or there are parts of the nail that don't stick.
2nd - the french sets are see-through so you see the glue bubbles underneath!! Looks so cheap and awful and no amount of glue or method of application makes those go away. But nice try - now all your fingers are sticking together.
3rd - they are NOT removeable as advertised. The 'non-toxic' remover does NOT work as advertised. It took approx 6 application sessions per day over 3 days for them to all come off (two came off day one, 3 one day two and the rest on day 3). And if it's not toxic, why does it say the remover should only stay on for X amount of time and then you should immediately wash your hands? Anywho, after the 3 days of trying, and looking like a goon with only select nails still in place over those days, the rest of the nails finally came off. But they are NOT reusable - they are all partially dissolved!! They are a tattered mess.
4th - they DID ruin my real nails. They came out thinner than before. Again, NOT AS ADVERTISED.
Worst of all - the company won't do anything about it!! I bought them to wear to a wedding in Ireland and was out of the country for a month. I messaged them upon returning and they won't do anything about it whatsoever because it's out of the 30-day return window. They also won't acknowledge the issue, simply giving tips and saying "You got this! I'm confident you'll be really happy with the results the next time around." How tone deaf could you be?!?!?! The nails are in pieces - HOW IS THERE A NEXT TIME??? And if you think I'm going to put a fresh pair of this disastrous product back on my hands only for them not to come off easily again and not be reusable, you're out of your mind.
Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I bought multiple pairs and they won't let me return them. These are FAR too expensive for this lack of customer service or accountability.
The same thing happened to my friend. You've been warned.
I've been using the nail hardener for…
I've been using the nail hardener for the last 2 months. My nails are so brittle and damaged because of this. They're also cracking and peeling. It also doesn't work better than regular nail harders that are half the price. The nail polish remover also doesn't work smh.
