Horrible quality and customer service
Horrible quality and customer service! The nails are super thin and bend way too easily. And they are SO SKINNY that if your nail beds widen at all at the bottom, STAY AWAY from these as they will never fit. And if you want to return, you get told you can on your DIME and only for store credit!! Why would I want store credit for more garbage?
RUN. Horrible product and customer policies
Horrible product and customer policies. I bought the Barcelona French and within 24 hours of putting on, the color was cracking off. When I contacted The company they told me that any nails with designs or matte finish or anything other than a plain color were painted on and would ship. That what they meant by “reusable” meant the base nail is reusable but you had to repaint it. When I asked if I could return and exchange my design nails for solid colors I was told that the 14 day window to exchange items have passed and there was nothing I could do
Static Nails makes a fantastic product
Static Nails makes a fantastic product, my nails have never looked better. However, this company needs to up their game when it comes to shipping. It takes almost 2 weeks for domestic shipping within the continental US. They send you an email that your order has shipped, but package sits in CA for about a week before it even moves. Got this notification on 11/18 and I still don't have my order on 11/27. I would expect shipping to take this long if it was being sent from another country , but not inside US. Hopefully, Static Nails will consider partnering with stores like Sephora so customers won't have to wait forever for their order. It's really a shame .
Horrible customer service and return policy, so don't take the chance
Love the lacquers, but don't recommend anything else. I just kept the pop-on mails which didn't look any better than $4 brands, but contacted customer service about returning the lash liner, which is the consistency of pudding. I was told there is nothing wrong with it (pudding liner?), and given a $5 credit toward a future purchase...which I won't be making.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed. Thumb nails don’t stay on. I’ve put the one thumb nail on 5 times today alone. Bought this as a safer alternative and I’m wrecking my nails with all this glue and having to constantly scrape them. I will be returning.
Not as advertied at all
Not as advertied at all. You can get the same result with $5 priducts.
Horrible customer service
I spent $68.00 for junk. Asked for a refund with no response.
Stsy away from them
I was excited when I first saw the…
I was excited when I first saw the different colors. However, my nails are splitting and I have to cut my nails short. Hopefully will grow normal and healthy again. I do not recommend the product.
Bad quality press on
Was very excited to try these press ons since reading the great reviews on their website. After four days of wear the top coat started coming off the nails. Always before going public I will email the company to make it right. I sent an email with photos of the damaged nails. The response to fix my issue was either put on a top coat or change the nails with the extras. "The whole reason I wear press ons is so I don't have to paint anything."And included was a $5 coupon code. Most companies will either replace a damaged product or fully refund. Went and looked up Static Nails on BBB and then realized after seeing their terrible rating, I understand I should have done more research before ordering from them. Just save your money and buy drug stores brands they are better quality than these.
Low quality with false advertising
I ordered the lacquer polishes from the primer, color and top coat, over $50 in total. It did not work. I followed the directions meticulously and it peeled within 12 hours, all peeling within a few days. It is advertised as long lasting, no chips or peels. I reached out to customer service and was told me follow the directions and then ignored. To me this is false advertising a low quality product.
I have bought many sets of static nails…
I have bought many sets of static nails and love them. My complaint is they are dishonest and have non existent customer service, only posting reviews that are favorable and excluding any critical ones. I purchased their liquid glass topcoat to protect the design on the set of nails and it literally melted my brand new nails!! Posted pics, video and reviewed it on their website and they never got posted. Emailed customer service about my issue with the topcoat ruining my brand new nails and got ZERO help, only them telling me I needed to prove that was a recent experience. As if they can't look up exactly what I've purchased in the last year? Extremely poor company to deal with. For the price of these nails plus shipping to Canada I expected much better than this.
I love the way the Static Nails polish…
I love the way the Static Nails polish system looks on my nails. My nails are stronger and I love the liquid glass look. I don't want to use gel polishes or false nails because they are too hard on my nails. I am a farm girl and nothing lasts too long on my nails due to gardening and tending pigs and chickens, along with my other jobs which are tough on nails like packing and shipping boxes and cleaning.
Ruined my natural nails!
I loved the look of the Static Nails when I first tried them, but after wearing two sets for a week and a half each, my natural nails are a mess. The have dents and bumps on all of them and I will have to completely grow them out for many weeks and hope they will go back to being normal again. I have taken pictures of my nails and would post the pictures if I could.
BACTERIAL INFECTION!
I just removed my third set from Static after wearing them for a week. First off, they have yet to come off my fingernails with a warm, soapy water soak - I always have to use acetone. Secondly, if I had left them on another week I would be facing some pretty hefty medical bills (and may still have a few to come). One of my natural nails emerged this time with a case of "the greenies" (bacterial infection) that has permeated the nail into the nail bed. I have been using glue-on nails on and off through out my life previously using Kiss' anti-bacterial glue and never had a problem. But now I feel like I let myself be blinded by the beautiful product images and hype of Static. The red flags are there for us more experienced glue-on girls: glue without anti-bacterial properties, encouragement to wear for too long time periods, no alcohol-prep pads provided (I provided my own), and very few contrary reviews of the product on any selling source. I'm here to tell you, don't let the pretty nails that look good after a week of wear (except the glittery ones - they peel after 5 days) entice you into complacency. Take these nails off NOW. If you insist on wearing them then use an excellent quality anti-bacterial glue - NOT STATICS GLUE - and don't wear the opaque styles (that you cannot monitor natural nail health visually through) any longer than 3 days. I will not be able to even paint my natural nails until this grows out and I have to buy a separate nail care kit just for that nail so I do not spread the infection to other nails. BUYER BEWARE, NOT ALL THAT GLITTERS IS SAFE OR AS REPRESENTED.
Any company/representative that claims that their glue is designed to breakdown naturally so you can soak your nails off in warm soapy water - that party is essentially telling you straight up that their glue will breakdown as you wear them opening you up to water/bacteria seepage and infection. Bad design concept. Bad health concept.
I just threw away 4 brand new sets of these nails because while Static does claim to do returns, it's for store credit only! Who wants to use a store credit for other nail products while suffering from a bacteria their products helped create?! And I definitely wouldn't risk using their eye products at this point.
$100 down the drain!
My first time trying the static nail…
My first time trying the static nail polish I was excited after hearing the manicure would last 7-10 days. Well, by day 3 I had a few chips, day 4 polish was peeling off. And I did use static primer, 2 coats of polish, and static top coat. In my opinion the product is not worth the price.
I loved static nails and how a You're…
I loved static nails and how durable they were using their own brush on glue. I do have small nail beds and had to file them to fit better. However when it came time to take them off after having them on for 3 weeks they ruined my nailbeds. And it was not like I had to tear them off either Wish I could add a picture.

Disintegrated nails from glue
I was excited to wear these nails. They looked great! Unfortunately I am now paying the price! My nails disintegrated from the glue. I always had descent nails but wanted to be a little fancy, hence the Static Nails. My nails are now split and peeling. I am going to see a dermatologist to see what can be done. I Am sure they’ll have to grow completely out however the way they are splitting and peeling I don’t know when the grow out process will start! I’m curious as to how this can happen if, as they claim, they used only natural ingredients. I will be further researching how this happened. In the meantime I’d watch out!

7 weeks later, no nails. Worst customer service. Shop around for a better, deserving brand.
It’s been 7 weeks - nothing received. I paid $50 for delivery alone. They sent it via snail-mail, even though I paid a premium delivery fee. The word fraud and theft comes to mind. They have the worst customer service.
They might have been the first to market, but there are lots of other brands now. Brands that deserve your business! If you're not based in the US, be prepared to wait 6-8 weeks for postage, because they use snail mail service (shipped via boat) but will charge you a premium $50 delivery fee.
Don't let their reply mislead you. They only have ONE delivery option which cost $50 and doesn't state the average shipping duration - obviously because they don't want to tell customers before payment that they're using 6-8 week snail-mail but charging you the premium mail fee.
EDIT (after the Static Nails reply):
Thank you for replying to this feedback. The delivery was NOT delayed. You used a snail mail service (shipped via boat, not plane).
Static Nails charged me $50 for delivery alone - a premium fee. For that $50, you should have posted the item via DHL Express. Instead you guys used a super cheap slow delivery service which didn't cost you $50 and you pocketed the difference.
If you wanted to use the snail mail service, then don't charge us the premium service fee - that's unethical and immoral.
Also, be honest, tell your international customers when completing the Checkout, that "we use a snail mail postage which can take 6-8 weeks for delivery". Then customers can make an informed decision on whether they want to pay $50 for 6-8 week snail mail delivery.
Also, customer service replies within 24hrs M-F? You're joking right? I replied numerous times and got no response for weeks - which is why I ended up pursuing this with my bank - that's how bad Static Nails service is.
I ended up disputing this with my bank - I received a successful chargeback from this company.

Pretty but Didn't Work for Me
I'll give it to them, these nails are pretty and the glue is really good. A couple problems: they are very long so I had to clip some off and file them down, that was pretty easy but after I did that the nails would constantly split at the top and would have to be filed down even more to where you couldn't see the Ombre effect I loved. They are too thin in my opinion (looks wise and wear wise). They are also not really that good at fitting most of my nails.

Worse than grocery store nails
I have tried 4-5 different brands of nails, and these were by far the least durable (and most expensive!) They were chipping and cracking within 18 hours of application. When I emailed customer service with pictures they said I was out of luck, they did not offer refunds. I indicated I had 3 sets that were unopened that I no longer wanted. Because if you super glue bad nails onto your hands they are going to be there for at least a week looking terrible. This is a direct quote from their email response: “Please know that we have our policies, which are listed very clearly on staticnails.com. Per policy, we do not allow returns or exchanges.” I have heard they delete negative reviews from their website :( so outside sources like this are the only way to find out that their product quality - and customer service - are horrible.

I wish I had never bought these nails
I wish I had never bought these nails! After seeing them on Facebook I decided to give them a try. I purchased two sets of the "round" shaped nails, which cost me around $50 with tax and shipping and handling. The nails arrived in about a week and I immediately was concerned about how large they appeared. I have slender fingers and nail beds and I wasn't sure they would fit. When I voiced my concern to Static Nails they said you could shape the nails anyway you wished easily. Well I don't know how you could trim the nails down to make them narrower without making it look horrible. So I did not trim them and following the instructions I picked out a set of nails that fit me as closely as possible. I followed the instructions to a T, starting with clean dry nails. I then buffed my nails as instructed with the nail file included in the kit. Next I applied a generous amount of nail glue to my nail bed and then a thin layer to the inside of the nail, as the instructions say. I managed to apply four nails this way, got glue everywhere but carried on. That's when I ran into trouble. The next nails would not stay on my nail beds. No matter what size I used, or how much glue I used, or how long I held the nail in place, as soon as I released the pressure the nails just popped off! I soon realized that no matter what I did they would not stick. I then had to figure out how to get the other nails off without damaging my real nails. Again, following instructions, I tried to get them off but they would not budge. I soaked them in acetone nail polish remover and finally, with extreme effort I pried them from my nails. My real nails and cuticles tore and split, causing much pain. My nails are now in a horrible condition from using these fake nails and glue. I checked Static Nails return policy and that's when I found out I can't get a complete refund because they will only take back the unused unopened nails AND if I do return them I have to pay the postage. I wish I had never bought them and just stuck to nail polish or regular press on's. Do not buy them, do not use them, your nails will be ruined by this product!!!
