Easy to order and delivered promptly

When the prodduct arrived it was good However the logistics of getting it delivered were not excatly perfect

My driveway gates are extremely well made having replaced a set of gates made by another manufacturer who are high profile on the internet. Stellar gates are of an extremely high quality and superior to other gate manufacturers I have used. I would have no hesitation in recommending.

I received good advice when ordering the gate, and when it was delivered, it exceeded my expectations regarding quality.

Ordered these hardwood gates following a lot of research online. Stellar Gates offered quite a wide choice of designs and I was impressed with the description of manufacturing techniques. On arrival the overall quality and finish were good. I decided to oil these gates myself so choose untreated. There were a few places where the timber was not as finished as the majority of the gates but these areas responded fairly well to some aftercare. On the whole very pleased with the gates although not yet hung.

My Scandinavian Redwood Gate was manufactured to perfection and is very sturdy. The post supplied was the correct size for the gate. The product received was finely sanded. Superb design, so no see-through gaps are visible. The hinge kit and accessory fitting are robust. Before installation, I treated the wood with two generous coats of Barretine Preserver in Golden Brown. Carefully considered and followed advice online (Gate Expectations etc). I would recommend using washers with the supplied masonry screws to fit the posts and just take your time with phased installation. Or, just pay a carpenter to fit it for you. I opted for 10mm x 3 gaps and 1 inch at the base. Thank you Stellar, but it would be nice if you created a how to treat and fit gates video demo!
