Quality of gate very good. However, bit disappointed with customer after service due to fact that they would not refund a 5% discount offer as a good will gesture.

Having searched for the ideal garden side gate at a fair price, we came across Stella Gates, and what a great choice it proved to be. Ordered hardwood gate on line and found the hints on measuring it correctly helpful. Was kept informed on progress of gate and delivered when said. Pleased with the build quality. Looks good now it is fitted.

Excellent quality gate, posts and hardware

Firstly, the website was easy to navigate and understand.
Secondly, the measurement advice was great especially as we were fitting gates between our house walls and our neighbours so we had little space tolerance.
Thirdly, we ordered side fence panels to close the gap and these had to be bespoke made and they fitted perfectly.
Fourthly, telephone queries were answered promptly, politely and were really helpful.
The packaging was superb and gates, panels, posts and ironmongery arrived in perfect condition.
Installation was straightforward but we needed the guide from the website (sorting out screw sizes and purpose etc) - perhaps the guide should be included in the delivery pack.
Overall, the quality of the products were outstanding and our neighbours are very impressed. In fact, one is going to order the same for himself. Our builders (installers) are also impressed and will recommend to other clients as will I.

I needed a large but classic-looking garden gate for a communal garden entrance to a 1930s small block of flats.
I’ve never fitted a gate before, so I double-checked my measurements. I even got the guys at Stellar Gates to re-check them; they tweaked the size by 5mm!
I ordered the Cheshire Design one.
When it arrived, I thought that I had messed up the measurements. It was much bigger than I thought it would be and much heavier.
But when I tested it for size, it fits absolutely perfectly, and the bigger size works as it’s in front of a big building.
The gate itself is very substantial, very well made, a work of art.
I live in a leafy north London suburb, and for weeks I’ve been looking at all the neighbourhood gates… I believe I’ve got the best gate in town.

Fantastic quality hardwood gate, arrived sooner than expected and was well wrapped to protect it.
