The treatment and care I received from Mr. Lash were excellent in all respects, as was the outcome. Would recommend without reservation.

My vitrectomy and Cateract operation went very smoothly. My nervous anticipation was dealt with very sympathetically and I now realise was entirely unjustified. The whole experience was completed without pain or any trauma. The outcome at this early stage exceeds my expectation.

I highly recommend this company and in particular Stephen Lash, I have recently had cataract operations on both eyes done by Mr Lash with great success. The whole experience was easy, efficient and all one could ask for in any medical procedure. The whole staff are pleasant, caring and totally professional with a high level of excellancy. The hospital was the cleanest place I have ever been in , even down to the coffee machine. The surgery, which was very quick was completely painless - no anethesia is required but helps if one is nervous. I now have 2020 vision after being extremely short sighted for nearly 60 years. I should have had it done years ago.

I have received first class treatment and post-operation care through Mr S Lash at Optegra, Whiteley.
All has gone well and I am truly grateful for the care received.

Steve Lash and his team are execllent. The service and care they give is highly commendable. Tanya his secretary is the most delightful and helpful lady and very efficient too.
I have both eyes operated on and it is a joy to be able to see and read without glasses or contact lenses.

Dr Lash is a true genius. My father had complex and challenging eye surgery last week, however was in completely safe hands. Within a week after surgery his eyesight has improved immensely. In the fog that surrounds choosing a Consultant Surgeon to perform eye surgery is sometimes a lottery and my wife and I looked at countless consultants via the internet but decided on Stephen Lash for 2 main reasons.
(1) His website explained everything in layman's terms so you partially understood what was entailed before you booked an appointment.
(2) The opinions of patients that Stephen had operated on.- Everyone gave him 5 *s.
My wife had cataracts removed on both eyes and Stephen explained during her initial appointment what he envisaged for her sight after the operation and took the time to allay any fears that you have
The operations were performed at Optegra Eye Hospital at Whiteley and the care and attention pre and post operations but all staff involved was superb.
I would certainly recommend Stephen to all friends and family as the only consultant to visit for Cataract Surgery.

From the first meeting with Mr. Lash, I was relaxed, and confident in his skill and ability. Everything was explained fully, and in language that I understood. All in the operating theatre were friendly and helpful, as were all the nurses and other staff I came into contact with.

It's not just Stephen Lash's self-evident skill. It's the way that he and his team explain the procedure, making you not only informed, but confident and relaxed.

The after-care is exemplary, with a follow-up telephone call 24-hours after surgery and then an examination a month later, with an honest appraisal of your progress.

I doubt if anyone actually looks forward to eye-surgery, but if it becomes necessary, Lash Eye Care is the place to have it .

There is no need to be anxious regarding cataract operations under Mr Lash and his team. They know exactly what they are doing and carry out the whole procedure in a pleasant, easy and professional manner. Before the treatment I was scared. During the procedure I was put at ease by the friendly staff, told clearly what was going on and was surprised and pleased how quick and painless it was.

After care has been great and has given me confidence for the future.

After enduring poor vision due to cataracts, i made an appointment with Mr Stephen Lash.He conducted in depth tests,advising me on lenses and procedure for the operation.On the agreed date,i fully confess to extreme nervousness, understandably where eyes are concerned,but worries were soon soothed by his professional and very kind approach. I was comfortably settled and talked through every stage as it progressed. My "ordeal" was soon over and my after care was superb. The service I received was excellent. The appointment system worked well and I was seen quickly after referral. The removal of the cataract was done quickly and calmly in away that reduced the stress of the occasion.There were no problems following the procedure. The aftercare check up went smoothly and ended on a positive note. Through out the treatment the hospital systems worked well and waiting was minimal.
