The Gold MAT Mastermind is an excellent programme. It is exactly what is needed to prepare teenagers, who have the potential and love for the subject, to try for prestigious universities and demanding courses. My son ended up receiving an offer to study at Oxford.

My son has always loved Maths and Computer Science - he was always the best in his school and just loved the subject - but the Maths taught at school was at a much more basic level than what is expected at Oxbridge. This programme has been worth every penny - it's taken my son from being good at Maths to being really confident, able to think on his own feet under pressure, and to see the patterns that allow him to work through complex problems under time pressured conditions.

The programme itself is a lot of work but it’s exactly what is needed to study Maths and Computer Science at university. The weekly sessions were very useful, and an excellent way of keeping the momentum going. The tutors clearly love their subject and are very knowledgeable. The online materials and videos were also very important: they allowed my son to work through questions in his own time. Finally, the one to one tuition was second to none, and this was essential to bridge the gap between the Maths taught at school and the Maths required to be successful when applying for Oxbridge. The practice interviews were also really useful and helped him understand what an Oxbridge interview was going to be like.

The book "The Oxbridge Formula" is an excellent starting point - it gives a flavour of the work required when applying for Oxbridge.

I would be very likely to recommend The Oxbridge Formula to another parent.
The programme was very enjoyable, stimulating, and had good breadth. The discipline of time spent every week is excellent. We had a good rapport with tutors, and were given sound interview advice.

I would recommend this programme because it's tailor made to fitting the needs of ambitious young people. It covers a wide range of areas to prepare them for entrance requirements and boosts their confidence.

I would definitely recommend The Oxbridge Formula's programmes to parents of aspiring Oxbridge students as it provides comprehensive preparation encompassing personal statement workshops through to interview prep, which has been immensely beneficial to my child.

The team at the Oxbridge Formula have been very proactive in replying to any queries/ issues faced during the course and guiding us appropriately. They are very organised and prompt.

The best part of the course is the extensive practice given to apply and develop your thinking skills in a way above what is required at school. By regularly stretching the boundaries of comfort, the students become used to tackling unfamiliar problems and so they become accustomed to the discomfort they may feel in an admissions exam/interview. This allows them to overcome the issues generally faced during the actual exam and perform to the best of their ability.

The most beneficial aspects have been continuity in practice; weekly workshops help by covering various topics extensively and keeping the pupils actively engaged. The programme has helped my daughter develop confidence in the ability to tackle unknown problems and learning to think logically through the problem.

My son enjoyed the workshops and found it very useful to work through problems tailored to the exam. He particularly enjoyed the courses on graphs and working through them.

As the course progressed, he became more skilled at attacking problems, working through a large collection of problems without hesitation. Always enthusiastic about maths, with increasing confidence, he is very willing to try his hand at new things.

He has always found the tutors friendly, approachable and encouraging. The tutors are of high calibre and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend The Oxbridge Formula to other parents in a similar situation!

The Gold Cambridge Engineering (ENGAA) Accelerator included very extensive and varied teaching: regular structured workshops, webinars, tutorials, and interviews. We had really good communication with admin team about the timing of live courses. They were very accommodating and gave clear advice and updates to parents, with swift responses to queries.
There was an exceptional calibre of tutors across the board, and a really high level of tutor engagement with their students. They struck a good balance between supportive teaching and effectively challenging student’s development and skills.
The Oxbridge Formula took a really good individual approach to our daughter's specific needs, including a successful tutor match. Our daughter has grown in confidence with both her learning and abilities and the application process itself.

I would recommend The Oxbridge Formula Mastermind programme because it’s a brilliant resource to close the gap between traditional maths exams and the more intensive entrance exams of Oxbridge.

The best parts were the intensive course days and the tuition. The tuition in general helped my son to learn vital skills which he can take forward in sitting the STEP exam. I saw my son become more confident and engaged in his studies. The coordinators were very quick to reply to any problems or questions my son had.

The best parts of the Economics programme have been its intensive nature, the prompt customer service and support from the team and, commitment to keep the course on track, even with the difficulties presented by covid.
I highly recommend this programme and suggest that you get an early start!

My son describes the online materials and quality of tutors as very good. We've loved the targeted support and engagement from The Oxbridge Formula team. In particular, I have noticed that my son is more eager to engage in his learning and would say that the student experience is very good.

The support we have received from The Oxbridge Formula has been fantastic. The programme gave a big boost to our son. His confidence level has increased and without this course, he wouldn't have been able to attempt as many questions in the exam. He attended interviews of various universities and performed brilliantly. The knowledge of The Oxbridge Formula tutors is second to none and he was motivated to push his boundaries and we are glad that he performed really well.

We purchased the Medical school programme but decided to withdraw from it within the trial period. The policy on refunds within the trial period was unequivocal as stated on their website under FAQs,
“If you purchase a product with a free trial and cancel your subscription before the trial period ends, you will not be charged.”
Our course came with a trial period that ends on 31.12.2021 as specified on our Subscription Agreement, a screen shot of which has already been sent to Ms Paarl Shah. We cancelled the programme before the trial period ended on 31.12.2021. Despite providing evidence of our rights under the Subscription Agreement for a full refund, Ms Shah is unwilling to admit her mistake and insists on confiscating payment of £1200 made to her. That is a day light robbery and clear breach of trust.
Please beware of dealing with her as she is devoid of any professional ethics and cannot understand her own policies well. We wonder what values she imparts to pupils she teaches !
Disgruntled parents

Overall, this has been a very good programme - I would recommend the Mastermind to young people who are serious about applying to Oxbridge. It provides fantastic resources and structure giving my son the best preparation he could have for the exam. I feel it was good value for money - there were loads of sessions, videos and resources to draw on.

The live workshops have been really useful - my son says they have driven him to do much more work than he would have done on his own so he is better prepared. The small group sessions were useful and the videos that could be watched again / or if a course or workshop was missed were great. The Oxbridge Formula creates a very supportive environment.

The best parts of the long-term programme that my son signed up to, are the weekly tutorials and intensive 3/4 day camps you put on in the holidays.
The online materials are great for practising too. I think the structure of the tutorials are excellent and the simple fact that you provide a framework and plan to get each pupil ready for the MAT is incredibly beneficial.

I asked my son whether he thought the Oxbridge Mastermind programme had helped him and he was unequivocal in that without your help he would not have had a chance at passing the MAT.
The program covered every aspect of the MAT in how to approach the questions. Even though as I write this we don't know whether he's being called for interview, the workshops on interviews have really helped him understand exactly what's expected of him at interview. That has been invaluable.

His confidence in approaching mathematical problems has definitely improved. His experience so far has been great, I can honestly say he's never once not wanted to do the tutorials and workshops but that could be because he knows I'd kill him if he missed one! In all seriousness he has enjoyed the programme.

The Oxbridge formula have been fantastic and I have already recommended your programme to other parents at my son's school. Whether he gets into Oxford or not, the process of simply preparing for it has helped his A'level Maths and Further Maths immeasurably.

The tutor interviewing us gave us challenging, yet enjoyable questions, the sort we've never seen before. This meant we had an authentic interview experience. The tutor would give us a hint when necessary to give us a push in the right direction. The fact that it was online wasn't a problem - we could easily see the interviewee's and tutor's writing. I feel more confident now about what an actual Oxbridge Physics or Engineering interview is really like. In addition, the fact that we get to see others being interviewed means we benefit even more. I definitely recommend the course to anyone considering it.

I think the interview preparation course is a very challenging one, but also one that is equally useful. It is a tough environment that puts you on the spot and therefore allows you to adapt and improve for when you inevitably face such a situation in the interview. I would certainly recommend it to others as it is very useful practice and would tell them to make the most of it.

My son had great help from the Oxbridge team , especially with his maths subjects. I am very happy that the Oxbridge tutors helped him to overcome his difficulties and learn his subjects in a structured and effective manner. The intensive courses and CTMUA preparation , mock interview preparation all have helped him greatly and boosted his confidence. My sincere thanks to all the team especially his tutor!!

Not a great experience. My daughter did the summer PAT week. Annoyingly pretty much most of the group were long term students paying the ++ package they offer and so they were already miles ahead of her. It did not do a great deal for her confidence. I felt they were more interested in selling more support rather than taking genuine feedback. I eventually spoke to someone who I’m sure said they would pass on my feedback - never heard from them again. Now if you have mega bucks to pay for the full package then go for it. I don’t recommend funding one of their other packages. I did this to help her generally with her A levels not just Oxbridge application - her comment was her PAT exam was a disaster so despite a lot of hard work - predicted A* - it’s hard to know if this has worked for her. But the lack of genuine interest in the customer experience has more than anything left me bitterly disappointed - I do not earn much and as a single parent this was tough to fund. I would not have posted here if I had felt they were more responsive.

The Maths Admissions course has really helped to increase my confidence about sitting the MAT exam. The tutors are amazingly knowledgeable and clearly convey techniques, tricks and tips to help you tackle questions, as well as explaining the thought process behind approaching more unfamiliar problems. Being online did not produce any setbacks - all the tutors were confident and the technology was seamless. The "Breakout Room" feature was effective and allowed us to collaborate in small groups, and the work, although intensive, was immensely rewarding. I'd thoroughly recommend this course, as it not only increases your understanding but also puts you in good stead for mathematics at university.

The Maths Admissions Summer School is intense but well structured and engaging. It goes over the majority of the types of questions that could come up in Maths admission exams and helps you find ways to solve them quicker or more easily. The tutors are encouraging and always take the time to explain anything you don't understand in the breakout rooms and it is interesting to have discussions with other students on other methods or ways of approaching the questions.
