Worst “farm shop” ever! Who pays these ridiculous prices for basic food? What a complete and utter rip off. I bought bread and cakes from there about 12-14 months ago on a visit so I thought I’d pop... See more

Disappointed
I used to love coming here with my children. We would always get an ice cream from the farm shop which they would look forward to. Today, however we visited and we were told they no longer served ice cream. However if we wanted to pay £8.95 to visit the 'Tulip Fest' then we could get one there (no thank you) So as you can imagine I now have two grumpy children and no ice cream, Thank you Strawberry Fields for that!
Mothers Day Gift. Happy Mum. ❤️
I bought the Savory Cream Tea Hamper and one of the gorgeous Cream Tea voucher for my mum for Mother's Day, I requested today for the delivery date in case there were delays with the courier. They arrived this morning and my mum is so happy with both and she can't wait for the famous cream tea, which we have booked for a couple of weeks time
Below from my mum.
I am really looking forward to coming down.
If you want to write a review for them, give them 5/5 stars. The scones are the softest scones I have had and the chutney is so nice it's good on its own even and I would def buy it and cheese is just right strength. Perfect🥰

Big shout out to a lovely lady who helped us today. Struggling to find a Christmas tree we rang before travelling and she was so polite and helpful on the phone and then when we got to the shop she helped us put through the net etc, it’s staff like her that make Strawberry Fields a great place to shop and she is a huge asset
Thanks again!!

A must in my view!
I have been here a few times already. Thought it was time to write a review. Met a few friends up here for lunch and I have to say the service and food is top notch. It might seem expensive but goodness me well worth it.
I have stopped overnight in my camper, as they were so kind in allowing me to stop over, having breakfast in the morning before going on my travels. It’s quiet, safe and the best nights sleep.
The shop especially food section is all homemade stuff and again whilst it might seem expensive actually is well worth it too, I’d love to do my weekly shop here. The best bit is that we support local farm shops!
Come, you’ll love it. A regular haunt for me in the future, love it 😊
What a waste of money
What a waste of money, paid £4 a head for nothing, we expected to at least get the pumpkins the kids picked including the price. Everything was extra!
I think in future I’ll charge the kids a pound to go into our garden, it’ll be better value!
October Fest Lifton Farm
Unfortunately not the experience we had all hoped for last night at the evening October Fest. I’d paid for five tickets plus five for the Maize Maze only to be told on arrival that the Maize was closed. The reason I’d booked this event in the first place was for four grandkids to go into the Maize. We then joined the queue for pizzas, after ordering we waited 45 minutes for our names to be called. Apparently there should have been a magician but we didn’t see him. The fire show was about 5/10 minutes. I didn’t see any of it and the four children saw very little. Could have done with better seating and organisation. And to top it all we were asked to pay for the pumpkins the children had picked up in the field. The tickets were £9.95 and mistakenly I thought that they were included in the ticket price! The children left without any pumpkins as the very smallest was £7 and I can only assume that the bigger ones were £20 and over! Not a lot going on and extortionate prices! Definitely won’t be booking again!
Unfortunately not since experience…
Unfortunately not since experience yesterday in the cafe. Asked for 2 cream teas with coffee , lady only put through 1 cream tea and a coffee , asked lady who brought over our product if this was for 2 so she said she would check. On coming back said no only 1 was ordered. Anyway young girl was quite rude and abrupt with my partner about it but she never deducted the coffee off as we had already paid prior. We didn’t have 2 cream teas and a coffee. 2nd lot of scones come out and the bottom of the scone was so hard we could eat them , no butter either. Such a shame as we have not been up to the place since before Covid , was a birthday treat for myself. Unfortunately will not be going back.
You need to go here!
What a great farm shop, the theatre of having props inside like the milk float etc is superb, the food fantastic, all round great job.
The Best Pasties
To be honest, they go straight through me, but that's fine because it means I can sooner have the next one!
Ooh arŕrr.
Father Christmas experience!
We visited for the Father Christmas experience & it was excellent. Really well organised, friendly staff & beautifully decorated.
Disappointed
Very disappointed two large steak and kidney pies with dried up veg the pie was meant to be large but it was on the small side pie was lovely that was the only thing edible, left under the heat lamps to long
Strawberry Fields...Proper job!
We stay at Tavistock in Devon a couple of times each year in spring and autumn, dining at Strawberry Fields always makes up part of our holiday. We usually start off with Sunday lunch, inviting other family members who live in the area. This is followed by a mid week roast, or pie of the day, then fish and chips on Friday and an all day breakfast on Saturday before returning home. Food is always excellent with friendly and polite service. We also use the farm shop for our self catering needs whilst on holiday, as well as a bigger shop on the Saturday morning before our journey home; stand out products, pies, quiches, breads, all meats, and chutneys especially the pumpkin chutney, always purchase several jars of this...have also phoned and ordered some when stock had run low which was delivered via DPD. If we lived local this would be our "go to" place to grocery shop every week. Proper job!

Very disappointed booked this for my husbands birthday and two kids £15 deposite £18.75pp lady seamed very nice on the Saturday told us that afternoon tea picnic was quite big and that if we had it for 3 people this would be plenty for us all.
Well I was shocked at the total price and what we had was not good the scones were bite size so three cheese and three plain bite size scones cut in half spread out , three mini pasties, , three mini sausage rolls , three mini rolls 2 ham one egg , three lemon drizzle cake slices , three chocolate brownies , three mini strawberry milk shakes that one was 3/4 full and three mini strawberry mousses in slim skinny flute glass about 2” high. I spoke to a different lady on the Monday on arrival but felt that she was quite rude told me our table was there with the balloons on but she had given it to someone else not a great experience at all I would not pay this money for this again not worth it when I could of bought 4 pastries and a pack of scones with cream for £20.00 in the store and would of been a lot happier in all having not to be dealing with a rude member of staff too. All look nice but definitely not worth the money
