Place where you have to wait for >100 days & send at least 4 emails to get a broken product

I made my order on March 19th (2017).

I contacted Sugar & Cotton on April 20th because there was no tracking information (they didn't send my product out).

Sugar & Cotton promised to send me a "replacement" item on May 1st and email me a tracking number as soon as they have posted the replacement item.

I contacted Sugar & Cotton on May 11th saying that I have not yet received the tracking number.

On May 17th Sugar & Cotton reminded me that it takes you 3-5 weeks to ship me my order and I should wait more.

I contacted Sugar & Cotton on June 27th asking for a full refund because there was still no package and not even a tracking number.

Sugar & Cotton finally sent me a tracking number on June 29th.

I finally received my order (a set of watercolor pens) on July 2nd. Some of the pens were broken and all of the packaging was stained with those broken colors.

Since I finally received the order and most of it was usable (after washing) then I asked a 50% refund from PayPal. I got the refund in a few days.

Would have paid less and received the item in a week if I had been smart enough to buy it from Amazon... Don't be stupid like me :) Don't support Sugar & Cotton.

S&C, just STFU about your fake positive reviews. You would think anyone would have fallen for that? (obviously thinking your potentail buyers are idiots.)

If you can reply to the positive ones, why don't you respond to the negative ones? Red flag.

Scam scam scam scam scam. DO NOT BUY FROM SUGAR & COTTON.

Surprised!

I was offered the free Globetrotter watch deal. Upon seeing its hip and attractive design, I was quick to order it and paid for the shipping. However, after ordering, I then saw the really negative review and I felt so stupid that I got scammed. I was seriously scared that they wouldn't deliver and would just take my money as some people have mentioned. However, they updated me on my shipping order and promptly deliver. Just this morning, the product arrived. I was so happy because 1) it wasn't a scam and 2) the product was actually decent for the price paid; it looked just like it was advertised. I will definitely try ordering from them again. (100% genuine review, I don't know what's up with the reviews but I honestly had a positive experience ordering from Sugar and Cotton)

No 0 stars so i give 5 negative stars. Crap company, their products are 7x what other places sell them for example the macaroon earphones cost $3 USD at most when they sell it for smth like $20 USD. Also, their shipping and handling guarantees are terrible.

THE TRUTH IS, their products come from CHINA. The reason why the shippig takes so long is because they contact the fake Chinese market to ship them your items to them upon purchase. They then ship it from their location back to you, which is why the packages often look broken and shiitty

One final note: their products are super LOW QUALITY. They resemble nothing of the ones they show on the website. It’s all Chinese fakes.

It's a rip-off.

Do *not* purchase from this company at all. All of the products that this company sells can be bought for a fraction of the 'sale' cost from AliExpress. You can find literally the same items for a far cheaper price. This company is merely a middleman that makes profits off gullible customers.

not too bad for what it's worth

honestly, not bad! i ordered a specific size pink opal fire and ice ring from them, and a body kun figure with the return discount. they both came, though it may have taken a while- but they were good with response time and i got my items after a little over a month.
just have patience, once your tracking code updates you should be in the clear!

They failed me, they'll fail you.

These guys have terrible service with completely incompetent personnel...
They asked for feedback and I let them know areas I saw that had room for improvement and they cancelled my order!!! I never said I wanted my order cancelled, I didn't even ask for a discount. I literally said that the shipping information and options weren't clear and that I would have sprung for faster shipping, I TOLD THEM I WOULD SPEND MORE MONEY GIVEN THE OPTION. When I contacted them about cancelling my order they completely ignored what I wrote and wasted my time through multiple emails. Screw these guys. I support companies that have employees worth giving patronage. These people clearly are not worth it and have managed to get me to put my time into taking business away instead of working with them...

Great! And I really mean it.

I ordered a cute watch from the store and it was around Christmas-I knew it wouldn't get here quick because it was the holidays(and i ordered very late)-but it arrived in January in 2-3weeks and that was alright with me. My watch was just as described and I was very satisfied!
I know there are many negative comments about the store but it did the job for me- I'd recommend others to try it out. I will be buying more from them in the future.

I would never order from them again

I would never order from them again. I did not pay much for the 2 t shirts but I would not give them to anybody, throw away, not even good for dusting. Terrible quality and the xl was not big enough to fit a 2 year old.

You will be lucky to get them, coming from China they take several months. Not worth the time and effort. Terrible site

Scam!

They sell damaged products or products not meant for selling.They also come to your house after 3 months or so.
I'm pretty sure they get products that were damaged in the process of production for very cheap or for free and they sell them to you for the full prize.
I hope they get busted!

Sugar and Cotton - No quality control

Sugar and Cotton delivers to its consumers directly from China warehouses. There is no quality control for their merchandise. Orders also take more than 5 weeks for delivery. We had items delivered in smashed merchandise boxes with broken items. Sugar and Cotton replace the items (5 more weeks for delivery) that again came smashed boxes and broken items. Merchandise is overpriced for what they market to the consumer. Don't purchase from this company

It's lying and robbed

It's lying and robbed. Two months passed and I did not receive my order. Communication is disgusting - some are promises. Such shops do not have a place on the Internet, and the owners must be in prison for deception. I turned to my lawyer and I'm ready to spend a lot of money so that they are in court !!!

Another scam company

Another scam company. Order a product last year in November, and product still has not shown. What a scam. Even when you contact them they tell you to wait longer or there is something with the delivery company. STAY AWAY from this company.

Product and scams

I have ordered from this company a few times now. First time there were shipping issues. The second time the product was just plain carp. False advertising. Will never buy from them again.

Happy with my order

Happy with my order!
I was concerned because I read these reviews AFTER I placed the order, and the reviews are overwhelmingly negative. However, I am happy to report that I received my order of wine socks exactly 17 days after placing the order, and the socks are great! I see no quality issues, they are like I would expect if I bought them in the store. I do wish that the company had been more up front about the fact that they came from China (maybe they were and I missed reading it. But the delivery was quicker than predicted (3 to 5 weeks is what they told me, and I got them in just a shade over two weeks), and the quality was as expected. I'm glad I placed my order before I read the reviews.

Items are cute, prices are great but beware the lies ...

I ordered 2 items and a month later received 1. The item was clothing and seems very small for the alleged size. The Sugar & Cotton website provides no measurements gor tgeir sizes so choosing a size wax a complete crapshoot anywzy. Items are intended as gifts so I haven't returned yet but expect I'll have to ... If I ever receive the 2nd item.
When I asked about the second item, I was told that it shipped separately and would arrive shortly. I had to request the second tracking number as it wasn't provided and doesn't show on my order info. It's now been 2 weeks and the tracking number still isn't recognized. It took a week for the first items number, when the "shipped" item finally was turned over to China Post - don't have much hope I'll ever get the 2nd item.

UPDATE: I've been trying to work with customer service but it's now been 3 1/2 months, 2 orders and 3 shipments (2 which never actually shipped) and I still don't have the 2nd item. Asking for patience because their supplier/shipping is slow is one thing, not being able to actually fulfill an order is another.
REALLY don't appreciate being lied to: 1. Don't tell me my item shipped when all that's happened is a label was created and actual shipping won't happen for days or even weeks! 2. Don't tell me my items shipped separately when the truth is that the 2nd item was left out of my order and will only eventually ship (theoretically) because I asked about it!
