Viewed their products at a friends…

Viewed their products at a friends house and was extremely impressed with the product quality and functionality.
There were issues with the shipping of the products but this was immediately fixed by Sam (manager) and followed up through the whole situations.
I strongly recommend this product and will continue to build my home gym using their machines.

Missing Items in Delivery, Frustrating Customer Service

Purchased 20/2/23

Products seem to be of good quality (however the adjustable bench is average)

Both 20kg plates were missing from our order. I sent an email to customer service and received a very quick response saying they would follow up with the courier. I waited for a week and got no updates so I sent another email.
Two weeks and about five emails to sumo strength customer service and even Aquila, the parent company, with not a single reply back. Thinking I’d been jipped, I called their phone number, and spoke to someone who said the plates must have been lost in transit and they would send out replacement but they wouldn’t be in stock for another week, to which I said all good.
Two weeks later, no word to say the plates had been shipped. Had to call AGAIN, to which I was told the plates would be shipped out that day or the next day. Luckily I received them about a week and a half later.

The fact that my emails were clearly ignored not only by sumo strength but by Aquila as well, is extremely frustrating as a customer who spent a lot of money with this company. I understand things go missing etc but the customer service was lacking. I shouldn’t have to chase up everything myself for weeks.
