shocking response from managing director

The customer service is so poor. I bought a product which is not designed for the purpose. After 14 days I contacted them to ask for return and refund but they said since the item is used, they will not issue refund. They completely disregard the consumer rights . Received appalling reply from the managing director which clearly shows the company attitude towards customer.

We really are very sorry you feel this way but as we have explained, politely and clearly, there is nothing wrong with the skipping rope you. purchased from us. The fact that you are unhappy with it touching your skin is down to your skipping technique (and we do provide a guide to skipping with the rope to help and improve). We are not able to refund goods that have been used and designated as undesirable on a subjective level. Had the rope been faulty in any way we would have replaced or refunded, of course. The fact that it is not your personal choice of equipment is not a reason for us to refund your money.

Outstanding Service

Outstanding Service. I ordered and item,which was delivered within 24 Hours. On trying the item, the size was loose and on returning the item, i ordered a replacement item which was delivered within 3 working days. The customer service team were excellent and will use the company again to order future items. Well done Team Sundried:)

Top quality at great value…

Decided to try and move away from buying expensive cycling jerseys. Rapha ,castelli etc and give a value product a go. Decided on Sundried sport (sundried’s entry level gear), pleasantly surprised, lovely soft feel and a great fit. As good as any jersey twice the price. Give them a try. I bought another jersey immediately after trying it on.

First class gear and service

I've bought numerous cycling items from Sundried and cannot fault the quality and customer service that I received. Free returns makes it hassle free as well. One particular item, the thermal bib tights are the most comfortable item of cycling clothing I have ever purchased. They're a great small business that I will continue to support - well done Sundried

Sundried t hiin puffer jacket

I bought a thin puffer jacket from sun dried. I was looking at rab and other much more expensive but similar things too. Thought I’d take a punt on this one. Much less money and I can’t see what the difference is between this and one that’s 3-4 times the price. Very impressed. Quality seems great so far. I would recommend it.

Fantastic customer service great products

I cannot praise the customer service at Sundried enough! I have purchased several tops and they are all excellent quality. I recently bought a jacket which felt a little too snug around my hips. I returned it freepost last Friday afternoon and today Monday it was delivered to them and they immediately posted a size up to me with tracking. How is that for a quick turnaround! Really fantastic customer service and great products. Highly recommend.

First Class service

I have bought several items from Sundried over the last few months and have been very impressed both with the quality of the goods and the speedy and helpful service. I have had cause to use their free returns service and was pleasantly surprised at the rapid refund of money this generated. Most recently there was a fault in a shoe I had purchased several months ago, and within hours of me reporting this to Customer Services I received a response telling me a new pair would be sent - and they were!
I highly recommend Sundried.

Sundried overshoes not fit for purpose.

I bought a pair of Sundried overshoes from amazon last year. Initial impressions were good, the overshoes seemed very well made. I wore the overshoes normally for about three weeks when I noticed that the stitching on the reinforcement bands around the cleat and heel holes had broken allowing the reinforcement bands to come away from the neoprene. I contacted customer services who arranged for a replacement pair of overshoes to be delivered to me. I used the replacement overshoes for two weeks when the same thing happened again, the stitching broke and the reinforcement bands came loose. I contacted customer services again but I have not received the courtesy of a reply.

We are sorry to see there is a problem with this order and have been in touch with the customer to rectify the matter. We have discussed the nature of the damage to the overshoes as we do not deem them to be a faulty product - the first goodwill replacement was some months after the original order (which was placed in August last year). We always try to work with a customer to ensure that they are happy and when a item is faulty, replace without quibble.

Our last conversation was in November and we had not received any more recent messages; we would always respond to customer communication, of course.

Fantastic quality and service

My colleagues bought me a Sundried voucher for my birthday last year, and since my first order I have been so impressed. The clothing is great quality, the range is really good and of course the environmental factor is really important. Whenever I have contacted the customer service team they have been fantastic and really go above and beyond. I recently purchased some leggings which had a little hole in them after the first wear and they immediately sent out a replacement pair for me. Could not recommend more highly.

Terrible
I order a pair of socks on the 2nd of Jan as of today (16th) still no socks
I contacted customer service who surprise surprise used the pandemic as an excuse (I work in distribution sending 500+ items every day) before Xmas it was tough.. now not so much
Just received this highly professional email advising me that my package isn’t on its way….
Alas my close eye now leads me to conclude it will not be delivered and is lost - so sorry - we will reship tomorrow for you

I'm sorry to hear that you're so disappointed with your experience shopping with us.

We received your order on Sunday the 2nd, and as the following day was a bank holiday we shipped via Hermes - our free shipping courier option - on the 4th of January with the intention of it reaching you within the usual 2-5 working day period of delivery. Even though I appreciate that you yourself work in an industry that revolves around distribution, many courier companies - including Hermes and Royal Mail - have been publicly stating that they are still struggling to work through a backlog of shipments in many areas of the country as many workers continue to be forced to isolate due to the Government's guidelines with regards to the ongoing pandemic. We have been made aware of several delays with deliveries by customers consistently over the past few months, and although the backlog appears to be easing there are still more than enough examples of items not reaching their destinations on time.

When you contacted us 6 working days later on the 12th to let us know that you hadn't yet received the order, our customer services manager Sarah answered your email herself and explained that she would contact the courier to enquire as to the package's whereabouts. Upon being told that it should be delivered within the next 48 hours she relayed this information back to you, but said she'd be keeping a close eye on the shipment to ensure that this new ETA was met without further issue. Sarah then followed up with you 48 hours later - despite this period elapsing on a Sunday and outside of working hours - to state that she no longer had faith in the item arriving and believed it to be lost in transit. You were also informed in the very same email that we would therefore be reshipping the order for you once we re-opened for business on Monday.

Unfortunately you have taken exception to the way this has been handled, but I can assure you that we have done nothing but attempt to provide you with the best service possible, firstly by allowing the package more time to arrive with you given the current obstacles, and subsequently by offering to reship it for you the second we were able to deem it lost. If you found our communication to be unprofessional then that is a shame, but we pride ourselves on the service we provide, and the manner in which we provide it, and that is hopefully evident when perusing the other reviews of our company on Trustpilot.

We have been waiting to hear back from you with regards to your preferred method of posting, but as we did not receive a response we have taken it upon ourselves to dispatch with Royal Mail First Class, and so hopefully you'll receive it tomorrow morning.

I purchased a changing robe on Amazon

I purchased a changing robe on Amazon, and for whatever reason the order never arrived. I contacted Sundried directly, and have to say their response was fantastic. Coached me through getting a refund on Amazon, and at the same time arranged for my order to be delivered. Fantastic service and a great product. My daughter a keen Triathlete and wild water swimmer will love this quality, well designed and well manufactured kit

Incredible customer experience & quality products

Generally a 5* experience with Sundried. Kit is genuinely very good quality. I purchased bibs, jersey's, shoes and coat and all arrived very quickly with eco friendly packaging (really liked this). Customer experience is mega. I had an issue with the shoes I purchased, opened a ticket, had a response the same day and the issue was resolved without qualm the following day. Fantastic, thanks Sundried & keep up the good work.

Unprofessional Customer Service Manager

I wanted to return an item which is not accepted due to being 30 days return period however, the conversation that I held with the "Customer Service Manager" was pretty rude and unacceptable. The unprofessional tone that the "Customer Service Manager" will definitely be the reason that I will never use this company.Something is wrong with the whole retail industry nowadays, I think sellers forgot to be kind to their customers. I would say stay away, unless you would like to receive an almost ok product and never reach out to customer service

As a small business, we never forget that customer satisfaction is paramount and in fact, bend over backwards to assist. We would happily accept a return over 30 days in more reasonable circumstances but we are not able to offer refunds on goods that have been worn, washed and damaged. We do maintain professionalism even in the face of a customer who is being less than reasonable.

Excellent service, great kit

I ordered my first proper cycle kit, bib shorts, and shirt and long sleeved jerseys. The sizing guide was spot on, everything was delivered exactly on time and the kit is comfy and looks great. I'll definitely be ordering from Sundried again.

Great service, great value.

I've now ordered a few things from Sundried and have not regretted it. The service is excellent, the products are really good value - no, it's not top of the range cycling gear, but it's not priced to compete there, it's mid-range gear, priced at the lower end. I'd happily recommend the cycling and leisure gear.
