We signed our solar contract on June…

We signed our solar contract on June 23, 2025. Installation was completed November 7th 2025. As of today, our system is still not operational and we do not have Permission to Operate (PTO).

After installation, the project failed inspection and required fire plan corrections. We later learned directly from the fire department that corrections were issued to the contractor on January 26, 2026, and the delay was due to design revisions and panel layout compliance — issues that should have been addressed before installation.

There has been constant follow-up required on our end just to receive basic updates. Management has not proactively reached out despite multiple escalation requests. Communication has been inconsistent and reactive.

We are now months post-installation, making loan payments on a non-operational system, and facing potential panel removal due to design errors.

Based on our experience, this process has been poorly managed from design through permitting. We cannot recommend this company.

Smooth Process & Great Communicati

My experience with Sungage Financial was excellent from start to finish. The process was smooth, transparent, and easy to understand. They clearly explained the financing options and answered all of my questions promptly. I appreciated the professionalism and clear communication throughout the entire process. Everything moved efficiently, and I felt confident every step of the way. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable solar financing partner.

Very caring customer support

After running into many issues with my installers, I contacted Sun Gauge to come up with a solution. Customer support was amazing and helped me quickly resolve the issues with permit violations and my Township electrical inspector. They were able to defer payments t not pay double utility bills and solar loan payments.

Be informal and thorough.

What I did not like was it took very long , it’s winter so the house was very cold, there were children in the house, electronics could not be charged. There was no prior notice of needing to shut power off. After the job was completed, all information was not submitted and I had to send in the information thank God I was home from work to do so or else we would not get our incentive.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!

between dealing with ES Solar and Sungage, and having to fill out the SAME FREAKING DOCUMENTATION 5 times, you would think that someone would figure out what they are doing over there!!!
