Seem OK overall
Seem OK overall. I had my first non fault claim last year it happened about 3 weeks before my renewal and because it was an open claim at that point it put my new quote up about £140 i raised this with Sure Thing & the underwriter (Covea) and said will i get this back when its verified no fault on my part. They both agreed i should do. Got the letter confirming no fault accident but never got the extra cost of my insurance back. That said the claim was handled pretty well and i was paid out quickly for my written off car. That's insurance i suppose!!

Awful company
Phoned in our final 2 months of policy (entire year paid in full) to change vehicles, customer service lady was rude but could not change vehicles. As cancelling would have incurred charges said to let it run out and not renew. Two months later, no renewal letters or emails and they’re taking money out of our account for a vehicle we no longer own. They’re changing names to policy expert, DO NOT insure with them. 1st central are cheaper and far better all round

Hi Ayesha, thanks for taking the time to leave your review and we are sorry to hear you’ve been left unhappy with the service received from SureThing!. When a change is requested to be made on a policy, we send the details of the change to the underwriter. If the change is unacceptable to the underwriter, we as a broker cannot override this. We may have the option of placing your cover with another insurer on our panel. When a policy is cancelled, we charge a £60.00 cancellation fee, £30.00 if the policy is cancelled within the cooling off period. If the policy is paid in full the cancellation fee is deducted from any refund you would be due. If the policy is active and we have not been instructed to cancel it the policy will enter the renewal cycle. We issue a renewal invite at least 21 days before the renewal date via email. For your convenience and protection, we will automatically renew the policy unless we have been advised not to. The request not to renew the policy can only be made when we have entered the renewal cycle which is 30 days before the renewal date.
