Terrible service
Absolutely terrible service across all departments! Had issues from day one but without paying a fortune to exit the contracts we are stuck! They offer good business rates for electric at the start but are currently more expensive that E-on due to putting prices up! Water rates were good to start but after a couple of months doubled, even though water usage hadn't gone up! And to top of off don't ever have a water leak whilst with Unicom as they are not helpful or supportive in any way. They cannot seem to communicate from one team to another and take forever to attempt to resolve the issue! We are 4weeks in and still no further forward! Sending threatening letters that cause an elderly man unnecessary stress and worry seems to be all they are good at!! Avoid and give your hard earned money to another company.

Moving Premises Shambles
Absolutely awful - avoid at all costs would be my advice. Contract agreed to move premises on 20th of the Month - BT openreach not attending until 16th of the following month due to various issues with Unicom not doing what they should have done in the first instance and then just poor performance ever since. Costing me and my business money and lost custom as a result. DO NOT USE.

They have been charging my mum nearly ,£100 a month for broadband phone. When I phoned up they can't find any contract that my mum has signed but trying to charge £1000 termination fees to leave though there is no contract!! Was promised a manager would phone back to discuss but nothing. Stay well clear!!!! Joke of a company

Horrible company, don't sign any contract with this company, or you will pay a heavy price
We run a takeaway shop. Last Christmas, my health started to deteriorate. I fainted three times in the kitchen. Then I went to the hospital and the doctor told me that my heart had problems again and I needed an operation. So we can no longer run the takeaway shop. We are selling the shop, so we are deregistering our company. When I informed you that we had sold our shop, I needed to terminate the contract early, otherwise my new buyer could continue my contract. But you didn't agree, I don't know why, you told me that if I terminated the contract, I would be fined nearly £2,000 . , I told you that the new buyer could continue my contract and there would be no loss for you. We have used your company for nearly ten years, why do you treat your customers like this? It's not my health problem, and I will not sell my shop. It's been three months now, and every time I try to call you to explain, no one helps us.

Consistently poor service from Unicom
Consistently poor service from Unicom. Tried calling today - was on hold for 10 mins. When I did finally speak to someone, they wanted to transfer me to a different dept but wouldn't do it unless I could give them the exact amount of the latest bill - I didn't have that to hand. They had all the other company info. I ended up hanging up in sheer frustration. Appalling.

This is my second review for this horrible company. I switched to another supplier more than a month ago, but unicom still sending me bills. I looked at the bill to see what's the balance and what they charged me for. I couldn't believe it, they charged me £12 for 'payment by non direct debit' !!!! How on earth? I'm not even your customer anymore you thieves. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

The customer service of this company is unprofessional
The customer service of this company is very very poor, made a phone call to their office on Tuesday, was told someone would ring back within 24/48 hours, I had to call back again Friday morning as had no response, on calling still had no luck sorting out the issue, was told someone would call me back later, again no call back so I had to ring again on Friday afternoon to be told that there were no managers there to deal with my complaint. I asked to be called Monday morning before 10am which at this point I believe was justifiable, again no call back Monday morning so called them yet again to be told that the managers were in and out of meetings and were not available yet again! The staff are always polite but there is a lack of respect obviously for customers as they seem unwilling to sort out issues!
All this was in relation to them calling an elderly relative and being pretty much misleading or not explaining correctly the information they were giving to them in respect of contractual dates. They have tried to leave any response until the last minute so they can get over £500 for a termination fee. Very unprofessional!

I regret taking a contract with them
I've been with Unicom for six years using just phoneline and the service was good. Last autumn they persuaded me to upgrade to digital phoneline plus broadband. Biggest mistake I ever made.
The charges on my bill are higher than what was agreed when I took this package. The installation was a joke and took forever. I ended up on the floor surrounded by cables trying to complete it myself, as their engineer left without connecting the wires. I spend so much time calling them with problems and they will just hang up on you if they can't help or don't understand your issue. I spend ages on hold when I do call them and finding the right department is so hard. They tell you to use the website but there isn't anything useful on there. If they say they're going to sort something out for you, it doesn't happen. It seems like a bad joke to have a communications company who are so difficult to communicate with.
I'm now tied into a contract that will be expensive to get out of, so I'm just biding my time until I can move to a different company. I regret taking a contract with them.
