We love this little train even if we are silver surfers🏄♀️🏄♂️🤥. Its a great train ride up past waterfalls & woodlands. Staff are always friendly and helpful and there is a cafe too although we didn't use it this time. It makes you feel free & happy....go do it!
Very good customer service and…
Very good customer service and exceptional covid protocols. Many thanks to all the valanteers and workers on the railway.

Brilliant ride and scenery. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Staff members, all friendly and helpful.
Really lovely day
Really lovely day, staff were all brilliant, polite and helpful. The welsh afternoon tea was delicious.
Highly recommended for a family outing
Fabulous monumental scenery
Fabulous scenery, smiling helpful volunteers. An enjoyable safe experience. Maybe the views at the end could have been more exciting. Lovely cafe, the toilets couldn’t have been better organised re Covid safety. A bit pricey maybe.
great day out
great day out , Weather was awful but made no difference, so good to go on a rainy day !

Excellent day out with very good covid Precautions
Excellent
Excellent, staff were very friendly, beautiful scenery, covid-19 safety measures were good, felt very safe
In spite of the necessary covid…
In spite of the necessary covid precautions, the railway was running as well as ever, with friendly and helpful staff and a well turned out train and locomotive (no 7 on this occasion). The other train was hauled by an equally immaculate no 3. My wife and I had a very enjoyable trip, and a good lunch at the Wharf station cafe on our return. Because of covid, this was my first sight of working steam for 6 months, and could not have been more appropriate in this 70th anniversary year of railway preservation.
Thumbs up.
Everyone was really nice and friendly and did everything to make our trip enjoyable. Except providing good weather. Loved the fact we were hauled by a loco actually purchased for the railway when originally being set up. Carriage COVID partitioning good and discrete.
Very satisfied alround
Wonderful Day
Had a lovely journey, very mindful experience. Everybody was really helpful, the volunteers should be proud of their efforts, highly recommend.
Covid safe trip not to be missed …
We have been on the Talyllyn Railway twice this week with my 3 year old son and neither trip disappointed. The staff are so friendly and genuinely happy to be there. It was 100% Covid safe and well managed by having a compartment per family. The sausage rolls and tea at Abergynolwyn Station aren’t to be missed either. Thanks again Talyllyn we will be back soon.
Kids love it
One of the places to visit and good to spend a half of your day. Kids will love it absolutely.
