Terrible product. I am an inner city cyclist, and in a lifetime of cycling I had more flat tyres with Tannus Armour inserts than any other (vanilla) set up because they fail. They seem to be very badl... See more

Tannus Tyres are like no other bicycle tyre on the planet. Being solid, a Tannus Airless Tyre can withstand everything that would normally stop you flat with a pneumatic tyre. Nails, glass, sharp metal objects, and thorns are no longer your enemy.

So pleased with these solid tyres
So pleased with these solid tyres, after 17 punctures in a year with my previous tyres (more than 1...) cycling is now anxiety free.

Convenient and work done in quick time.
It's great product
It's great product , I was suffering from normal tire which it needs to air filling every time I want to go for a bicycle trip . It's a little bit rigid but Ok
The tyres have been a revelation
The tyres have been a revelation; although one might see the price as being on the high side initially, when compared against a top-performing tubed tyre they do hold their own. And apart from the fact that I now ride without the need to worry about punctures (which on a commute is a big relief...), I would point out that the tyres also withstand a lot of punishment. After a bumpy ride recently, I discovered a 2 mm piece of grit embedded in rear tyre. Removed it...and carried on. Plugged gap with a bit of exoxy resin and still riding strong 8 months later.
Incredible tyres
Incredible tyres. I am in no way related to Tannus but having seen these tyres advertised decided to give them a go.
Purchased nearly a year ago and fitted by a dealer in Preston i have been using them for commuting every week day cycling 30miles a day. Having done over 6000 miles in all weather tyres are great no problem with traction or slipping in wet feel like a normal 120psi 23mm racing tyre. Plus lots of wear left in fact haven't worked out when to change them. They were so good bought 2 more sets for spare bikes. These i fitted myself which were surprisingly easy to fit with supplied tool. The main attraction for me was commuting in dark in all weathers dont want to stop for puncture in cold and rain plus no need to carry tools. I use a single speed bike so was hard to do anyway. Dont need to pump tyres up during week or check when setting off as have had lots of slow punctures. Would recommend for day to day use without hesitation. Stephen
The tyres Tannus make are the best because they are truly punctureproof
The tyres Tannus make are the best thing that’s happened to cycling for me. Now I have no fear of going out on my own and having to do puncture repairs at the side of the road in the cold. It’s made me cycle outdoors so much more than i did before. They are slightly harder work on the legs but once you adjust to that you have become stronger which is also a bonus.
And they come in amazing colours. I have bright orange ones on one bike and blue on another. Whenever I do a sportive everyone comments on them.
Best thing ever for lazy people like me
Best thing ever for lazy people like me.
I purchased a tannus tyre for my Brompton. Following a video on Youtube I managed to fit it, but also managed to screw up my brakes, so next time would get someone to fit it for me. However, I'm terrible at bike maintenance so anyone with a touch of skill will be fine.
In short, I love it. I've not noticed any difference in grip etc on my commute and never having to worry about punctures or remembering to pump up tyres after a couple of weeks off work is just brilliant. I won't be going back to normal tyres for sure.
If you are heavy (over 90kg)
If you are heavy (over 90kg), you will probably find they are too soft. They will make your ride harder, which is okay if you like feeling a lot of traction/resistance against the road.
Fantastic product
Fantastic product, great Service and people - Recomended to all
Great solid tyres
Great solid tyres. No more punctures. Highly recommended
If you never ever want to worry about punctures and not worried about speed, they're great.
The tyres were OK.
The peace of mind of never, ever, ever, getting a puncture was great.
And so were the bright red tyres.
But my speed definitely dropped around 2mph in the city. After about a year of owning the Tannus tyres I buckled my wheel, took it back to the dealer who said he'd need to remove the tyre and once removed it can't be refitted. So it worked out quite expensive for under a year.
At that point I replaced the Tannus tyres with standard (air filled), and haven't got a puncture since! Very odd, but I appreciate it's all about luck.
In short, if you never ever want to worry about punctures and you're not worried about the speed, and you fancy a wide range of colours, get Tannus.
Very good allround tire
Great tyres
I bought a set of 26" MTB tyres. They arrived promptly and come with helpful instructions and all equipment needed to fit them. The tyres themselves are great - they feel similar to my old tyres. My only comment is they are difficult to fit on your own. It takes a lot of force both to get the tyre on to the rim and to click the plastic tabs into place. It's definitely worth having them fitted by a shop if you can.

I bought these tyres because I was sick …
I bought these tyres because I was sick of getting punctures cycling into the centre of London, my daily commute is only 10k but enough to get an idea of these. Well they do exactly what they say, there is no possibility of a puncture being a solid tyre, the only reason for a rating of 3 star is the fact the ride is hard as nails. I have a full carbon frame but the ride was quite frankly bone-jarring hard, which I find unacceptable. Using extra thick padded shorts helped but I couldn't recommend these until such time as they come up with a softer compound.

No punctures but very hard on my commute into London and also heavy - but that’s good right?
The product is great
The product is great, and I have been using the tires for sometime now. They work well for the road conditions we have. Only it's installation is a pain. It really does requires a lot of effort - it does pay off really well and as it lasts for a long duration it is a great thing. But that initial moment is quite a challenge :)
Without a doubt - 5***** stars from me
Tannus Tyres have been a life saver to me personally, and given me the confidence to commute by bike each day, without the anxiety of having to worry about punctures. I am on my 3rd pair now and each version seems to get better and better, with the new Aither 1.1 version almost identical to a normal Gatorskin tyre in my opinion. Great product & great development. Looking forward to seeing future innovations.

I had a set of Tannus tires for three years on a bike I used for my work commute and they were great! I have just replaced them and the new tires are even better.
