Received after the scheduled delivery date, and it seems good, good prices but what they do not say is that it is imported and then some parts are not compatible with UK so it incurs extra cost, I have written to the about it and I never got a reply…

An awful company

An awful company. We bought a cistern, returned it within the 30 day period (at our own expense) and was told we wouldn’t receive a refund as we had opened the box..? We were then told if we wanted the cistern back we had to collect it or pay for and arrange a courier. Tap and shower are now in possession of the brand new £200 cistern we paid for. Awful customer experience and awful company.

I’d also like to clarify I few things for you. To respond to your comment about the package “significantly damaged”, the cardboard box was opened. If you know a way of opening a box without opening it, do please update the guidance on your website. The cistern was definitely not damaged, the plumber checked it and gave his opinion.

I’ve never had such a poor, time consuming and difficult return experience than with tap and shower, which ultimately led to no refund for the returned product.

After reviewing your case, we’d like to clarify a few important details. The Geberit concealed cistern you returned arrived with its packaging significantly damaged and the item itself showing signs of physical damage. We shared photos of this with you at the time.

Initially, your returns form stated the item was ordered in error, but later you mentioned it was faulty. Regardless, our team offered to send the cistern to Geberit for inspection. We also asked for clarification regarding the reported fault, as the model you purchased is not designed to work with a cistern lever — and does not come with one included.

To date, we’ve not received a reply to our request for more information. We’d still be happy to pursue this with the manufacturer on your behalf, but we need the details of the issue in order to proceed.

Customer satisfaction is very important to us, and we’d welcome the opportunity to resolve this if you’d like to get back in touch.

I bought a Burlington thermostat shower…

I bought a Burlington thermostat shower which arrived well packed so I was pleased as it took centre stage in my bathroom. I had an issue with the headset holder which had become unscrewed. Lewis dealt with the problem beautifully and got Burlington to send a replacement holder in record time for my plumbers to attach it to the wall. For this reason alone I will use Tapnshower again - it is a rare thing to be able to speak to a human in customer service, let alone a polite and helpful one. So it’s bye Felicia to Victorian plumbing as trying to return something there is very difficult if they don’t recognise your order number on the complaint form.
And Tapnshower have the best prices. Well done!

You need to put an unsubscribe link on your marketing/feedback emails or you will keep getting 1 star reviews from me. Its not difficult and gives a great indication of how reputable and customer centred a company is. Remember actions speak louder than replies on here.

Sadly the taps did not match in…

Sadly the taps did not match in function. One turned open clockwise, the other anti clockwise.
Was that the reason for low price? It works, and as the hot water tap is the odd one out it is being used less - so probably some energy saving here.....

What’s not to like?

Great prices, ok delivery.
Theses days we are used to next day deliveries as a matter of course, so waiting 3-4 days was unusual but ok.
It goes with the price of course.
The only issue is that their system seems to be a little glitchy to say the least, as my order was placed in Sept 24 and they sent me a receipt of order a second time in Jan 25.
In addition, this review request was sent 6 months after purchase.
However, the above does not impact me, the great price or the great product

Factory faulty product replaced

Purchased Blauberg Calm 150 ST fan 13th Jan first two were factory faulty. Third one was OK received end of March . Took quite some time to sort, but Amelia at Tap and shower sorted it all for me eventually.

I used tap n shower to get a JTP Inox…

I used tap n shower to get a JTP Inox Floor Standing Bath Shower Mixer. I was impressed at the price which compared favourably to other JTP suppliers and generally the purchasing process went well. The delivery was not at all prompt which was a pain (order end of october arrived begining of Dec) and I struggled to get ample information about the fitting of the tap ahead of receiving the tap so this was a bit of a pain with builders/plumbers but all in all this is probably a JTP issue not a Tapnshower issue. I was happy with the service but not impressed with delivery times.

I bought a Merlyn loft height shower…

I bought a Merlyn loft height shower screen, very good product well made and super smooth in operation. Very happy with purchase. The reason for the 4 star score was the delivery time - ordered in July and delivered because of various hold ups in October.
