Went in to Tappi Portrack Lane after ordering some samples, spoke to Nick who was great with us on the different styles of carpets, We then ordered it that night,Dave came out and did the measure and the fitter rang to say what time he was coming to fit when he was finished cleaned up after.

Wallasey Tappi Store is very calming with a great selection of carpets! Just had stair carpet fitted today and have to say thanks for excellent service to the Team! Ben, Gary, Mark, Sean and Tom!

Shocking service. One mistake after another. From our original fitting date we had to wait a further 3 weeks until completion. Measured up wrong to start with. So had to come out a second time to correct their error (tried charging us for coming out a second time to finish their mess up)

Waited in all day for them to not show up. They went to the wrong address apparently 🙄

Waited in a third time for them to finally finish the job. Said we would be first job of the day. Waited in all morning, didn't show up till dinner time, said they had been on another job 😂

Just one lie after another. Incompetent!

Customer service from Tony at Tappi in Homebase, Farnham was second to none. Went to great lengths to advise and help choosing the wooden laminate flooring I needed ( I originally chose another product but the colour wasn’t right) as well as the team going out of their way to secure the stock from their warehouse in time for our builder to fit it. The product is great quality and looks so good in situ.

Everything went great from start to finish arrived on time fitting was very fast, Both men were very professional and straight to the point.

Would have been 5 stars, but there vacuum wasn't the strongest, so had to go over it once more when they left.

In general was great, took about 10mins, would recommend!

Dan and xav fitted carpets and vinyl flooring in my flat a couple of days ago, I wasn’t there while the fitting was taking place but when I returned home they had transformed my living space, the attention to detail was second to none. Thanks lads for a brilliant job, highly recommend 👌

Absolutely shocking company will never deal with again or recommend. The process started great funny enough chose carpet and laminate and all ok with measuring etc, waited 3-4 weeks and finally got day of fitting was told I would be rung in the morning to give me a time no call they finally turn up at 3 in the afternoon so I’ve waited the whole day, they haven’t ordered the beading for the laminate ok put this down to a mistake so waited another 3-4 weeks same issue again expect you just to wait in all day they turn up I leave them to it and I have never been so shocked I have a mid oak floor and they put a cherry red beading on it that looked orange not only that it looked like it had been put on by a 3yr old they pulled the wires out of my master phone socket didn’t have the correct door bars they cut the beading on my new floor and cut through the laminate I really wish I could put photos on as you would run a mile, rang and complained and went down to shop in the end and the “manager” was a disgrace said they had put it on in error when I said it looks a mess and not an error she said “well maybe he thought he’d done a good job” refused to put things in writing saying it wasn’t company policy! Until I threatened to stop the payment with the bank then suddenly but begrudgingly she could do it this went on for weeks and weeks I think I finally had my beading fitted 5mths after I first ordered they excuses this company comes out with makes Donald Trump sound sensible, I got so sick of them I didn’t even bother to claim to have the phone line fixed as just wanted rid of the company and it’s staff well say staff they are sub contractors, I need the rest of the house doing but will be going elsewhere.

The whole experience was very good. LVT and fitting excellent price. Fitters very professional it looks great.
Only failing was fitting times , knew which day but no communication on time. Will recommend to others.

Recently bought a carpet and vinyl from Tappi the in store service and advice was great. This was then made even better by the brilliant fitting service from Neil @ Tappi Guildford. Possibly one of the nicest, friendliest and most helpful people we could have wished to fit our new floor.

Purchased 2 carpets from tappi. Very happy with price, got a good deal in the sales. Have really helped by storing carpet (while new heating is being put in) until it can be laid, which is very much appreciated. Professional, helpful, great service, especially ernie and elaine from the Dundee store for there help and advice. Thank you, highly recommend.
