False advertising
FALSE ADVERTISING - BUYER BEWARE. It cost me $36.65 to send out 5 - 1099 forms, which is far, far, far above the $2.99 claimed on the website. Unless you plan on paying TOP DOLLAR just to send out 1099 forms, AVOID THIS COMPANY!! They charged $14.95 for the forms, $14.50 to mail them (required), $5.00 TIN check, eDelivery of $1.50, Sales tax of $1.95: a total of $37.65.

Additional services such as TIN matching and eDelivery are optional and can be excluded by unchecking the corresponding boxes during checkout. Mailing fees may apply when paper delivery is selected or required, and sales tax is mandatory where applicable based on state regulations.
We’re sorry for any confusion around the selections during your filing, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve how pricing and options are presented.
Forms not submitted yet charged
We own a small business with less than 10 subcontractors. I had an accident that prevented me from ordering the forms from the IRS earlier in January. I responded to a ad from Zenwork Tax1099. I got all of my information loaded. I was ready to submit my forms. It took multiple times for my forms to be submitted. However, when I got to the point where I could submit them, I used my credit card for the purchase. On screen, it appeared that my forms were submitted. However, when I returned to my account with tax 1099, nothing was submitted yet my credit card was charged and credited to pre-pay. This was something I did not authorize. Customer service was lacking with no way to talk to anyone or even have a live chat. Tax 1099 did nothing but frustrate me and take my money.

I was Pulling my hair out trying to use IRS.GOV. Zenwork made it easy and quick. One of the easiest websites to navigate. Try it you will be amazed. The price is great. under $10 to get done what I have been trying to do for 2 days. done in about 10 minutes.

I can't even Log ON!!!
I have been trying to log on to their site for 3 days to retrieve a 1099 from a previous employer. It keeps making me do a 2 factor identification.. which is fine if I could get the code before it times out... it is like a non-ending circle of hell. I have reached out twice to see if I can get it emailed or mailed USPS but of course not response. I ALSO do not appreciate being forced to sign up for a site I have NO INTENTION of ever using again!!

Can’t log on. The OTP doesn’t send a code. Sat here for over an hour and nothing. My dog can produce better results than this crap
How about figuring out how to run the site in a timely professional manner

This was my first time using Tax1099
This was my first time using Tax1099, and I'm so happy that I did! The agent I worked with, Amanda, was very knowledgeable and very patient as she walked me through some troubleshooting stuff on my end. I LOVE that everything we did is on it's way to where it needs to be - my 1099 person is receiving his 1099 via email, USPS, and his form was filed with the IRS. What a great one stop shop! Thank you Tax1099!
