Email warnings in error
Shortly after filing, I received confirmation that everything was successful. Two hours later, I received notice that I only created the forms; I had not submitted them. Ten minutes after that, I received an email notice that the payment had not been received. I logged in and checked, and everything was paid for and submitted. I contacted support, and they replied that these are just generic email reminders sent to all customers, reminding them that it is time to file, despite the warnings being very specific about payment and incomplete filings. They assured me everything was filed correctly. One day later, I received another email telling me that my payment is incomplete and that they cannot proceed with the filing. I've used this service for years, but this is likely my last time. I've completely lost faith in their ability to handle these forms.

Highly recommend! Worth every penny!
I have been doing my companies books for over 40 years and I always stress when 1099's come around. So this is a wonderful service that I highly recommend and it is worth every penny as a business owner. Just wish it was around for the first 40 years!

No Control Over PII
My previous employer chose to work with you in regard to their filing of mandatory tax forms. So then today, I get an email from Zenwork Tax1099 saying that my previous employer has requested consent of too eDelivery of my tax forms. It looks like a phishing email. After having to conform that you are a legit company, I click on the link. Then I find that I have to consent to your terms and conditions, which are set up for the customer (my previous employer) and not for me. Your privacy policies are set up for the customer and not to the individual whose information you are handling. Then when you dig into those, one learns that you are not liable for any data breeches. Even more so that you learn that much of this information, you do not consider private, and can sell it to yet another party. And I am held hostage. I can't even decline consent without an account which then would entitle you to the use of some of my personal information.

Electronic delivery is optional, and recipients do have the ability to decline consent if they prefer another delivery method. The information involved is strictly for mandatory tax reporting, and we make every effort to protect personally identifiable information using industry-standard security practices.
Epic Failure in 2026
Last year was great- this year is horrendous. I’ve been at it for two days and cannot connect with any type of support, except for an AI chat assistant. No one answers customer service by phone, chat nor email. What a disappointment.
Going to have to use another provider.
